π"BOAS Assessor Practical Training at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Zagreb
A practical training for BOAS (brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome) regional assessors for brachycephalic breeds was held at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zagreb on 7th September 2024 in collaboration with Croatian Kennel Club. After successfully completing the theoretical part of the course, three candidates, mentored by Prof. Dr. NikΕ‘a Lemo, an authorized lead assessor for the βKennel Club and University of Cambridge's Respiratory Function Grading Scheme,β successfully passed the program.
This program provides dog owners and breeders with crucial information about whether their pets are affected by BOAS, along with guidelines on how to reduce the risk of breeding puppies with this syndrome"
