APEL ZA POMOĆ NOINOJ ARCI
Prvi naš apel za pomoć uputili smo vam krajem listopada 2023. kada su dugovi Noine arke kod veterinara iznosili 29.283,34 eur. Od tada do 11.03.2024. na račun Noine arke uplatili ste 18.218,34 eur donacija kojima smo podmirili 62,21% dugova. Dugovi su nastali tijekom niz godina, jer unatoč popustima, odgodama plaćanja i razumijevanju veterinara koji liječe naše životinje, cijena svih cijepljenja, čipiranja, kastracija, liječenja novopristiglih životinja, liječenja kroničnih i akutnih bolesti naših starčeka uvijek iznose puno više od sredstava koje prikupimo tijekom godine.
Noina arka je neprofitna udruga i ponajviše ovisimo o uplatama i pomoći zaljubljenika u životinje pa nam i dalje nam treba vaša pomoć. Ostalo je za prikupiti još 11.065,00 eur kako bi se riješili i dugova i opasnosti koje dugovi predstavljaju za njuške na skrbi Noine arke.

Many Cavaliers seem to find Conkers irresistible BUT they can be a choking hazard and can even obstruct your dog’s bowel.

Conkers are from Aesculus hippocastanum, the horse chestnut.

If your dog has eaten conkers, you might see the signs within 1-6 hours. Symptoms of horse chestnut poisoning include:

Vomiting
Diarrhoea
Drooling
Abdominal pain
Disorientation
Excessive thirst
Loss of appetite
Seizures
Muscle tremors

A high dose of aesculin – caused by eating several conkers – could affect the central nervous system and might even be fatal for your dog.

Fortunately, with the right treatment, most dogs recover from horse chestnut poisoning.

Please remind your children that conkers are poisonous for dogs, and carry a toy or treats on walks to distract your pup from those shiny mahogany brown seeds. Perhaps it's a good time to practice your trade/swap cues, teaching your Cavalier to swap their treasure for a high value reward.

**If you suspect that your dog has eaten conkers, you should take them to a vet straight away.**

Thinking of my 8 angels🖤… once we had full house of Cavaliers and all are gone: Frankie, Ruby, Cindy, Kissy, Shannon, Queenie, Sugar, Funny. 🥺 I was aware this would happen one day, but I was not ready for this feeling of void.
