Hello! My name is Zola, and I have a heartfelt request that might bring joy and purpose to your stay in Amed, while making a significant impact on my life. You see, I found myself abandoned in a box outside the rescue shelter, and it was a terrifying experience. I cried out for help until the kind staff found me.
While I am healthy overall and love humans, I do have a minor skin problem that requires quarantine. The good news is that I am already receiving all the necessary medication and treatment. However, being stuck in a quarantine box is quite lonely and sad for me. I can see the other puppies playing together, but I'm unable to join them until I complete my vaccinations in the next 3 weeks.
If you have a safe garden and no other dogs at home, could you consider opening your heart to me? By becoming my foster home for just 3 weeks, you can make a meaningful difference in my life without the long-term commitment. Just a few weeks of your love and care will make a world of difference in my life. After the 3-week period, I'll be healthy enough to join the other puppies in Miko for playtime!

We just found this little one on the road today. She is in a very bad condition so we took her to the Sunset vet clinic in Ubud. Her name is Joy, with a big thanks to her sponsors! She was tested slight positive for distemper and she has a severe infection and anemia. She is getting treatment for now, till they can do more tests. We rescued 7 more little Wiggles. They had been dumped in the river :( They are so small! Barely a month old..

These past two weeks were the highest up and the lowest down. We had a big celebration because we reached 30 adoptions in 6 months!π We were so proud and happy!
The following week.. two of our puppies got sick, Surya and Brownie. We rushed them to the vet clinic in the south of Bali π and got the worst news; positive parvo virus. The virus is very deadly and has a high mortality rate in puppies. 3 days later both puppies passed away. It was so heartbreaking.π We never lost a puppy from the shelter before.
After we heard it was parvo, we had to move fast because the whole shelter was contaminated. Parvo virus can stay in the soil for years..
Our white puppies Hina and Oli had to go to a foster house immediately and we prayed they didnβt get the virus. Miko is now closed βWe are in the process of getting the right products to clean the soil but this is costing us a lot of money and time.
Monday evening Hina got sick, they would have gone to their new home the next day.. Another emergency drive to the vet clinic. Worst news: both Hina and Oli are positive for parvo. They canβt treat them, because itβs a virus. They can only treat the symptoms. We are praying they will make it! πβ₯οΈ

Our latest rescue mission started with a phone call from an unknown source in distress. There were three abandoned puppies, dumped between two restaurants. They looked very scared and neglected. Although we are already till the max with seven other puppies in the shelter, we couldnβt leave them be. So, meet the newest members of our pawclan: Louli, Hope & Perdy!
Unfortunately, it itβs difficult to find new homes for our little furry babies. We hope we can find them forever homes soon, so we can also help other unwanted puppies <3
