*PLEASE DO NOT TAKE DOGS THAT ARE NOT YOURS ON YOUR MOPED*

You may notice that a lot of the dogs on the island roam around 🐾 Some of these are strays however most are owned
🐾
Owned or stray - if a dog tries to get on your scooter PLEASE politely decline and gently shoo it off 🐾 do NOT take dogs away from their territory under any circumstances, no matter how much they try to persuade you 🐾 We have had a spate of tourists taking dogs away from their territory and becoming argumentative when asked to take the dog back. THIS IS NOT COOL. While it may seem sweet and funny in the moment the dog you took away from its territory is now likely lost and will possibly be attacked by other dogs in the area

While holidaying here you may find a local dog takes a shine to you, which is lovely, please remember it is likely owned and there is no need to take it in and feed it (although treats and petting are usually welcome)

Please do not give any animals here medication without first checking with us if we are aware of the animal - double dosing can have serious consequences and some treatment takes weeks to show an effect

Puppy season is well and truly here. Mini is one of many puppies we need to find homes for right now - can you help?

Do you live on the island?
Have some spare time and a love of animals?
The amazing woman who has been running Paws of Lembongan for the last countless years is stepping down. We would not be here today without everything she has done - BUT - she leaves a huge vacuum and we do not know how we will continue without her.
WE NEED A VOLUNTEER who is happy to be the point person - you will have a wonderful band of volunteers who help with all manner of things but we need ONE PERSON to be the focus.
Does this sound like something you would be happy to do?
No previous experience needed. Please message us. This position is paid in karma and animal love and is not a paid position.
If we are unable to find someone there is a very real possibility that we will have to stop operations which would be devastating to the islands animal population.
