Can you help us to prevent more suffering by sponsoring a sterilization? ❤️‍🩹

This Thursday we will be holding again another spay and neuter event with vet Ketut and his team.

For this important day we have already pre registered a total of 18 animals whose lives have the chance to improve.

Some of them are mama’s who had already countless of litters. Others are about to come to an age to be able to be a mama. Strays with no home or pets owned by low income local families, all of them are in urgent need to be fixed to prevent further unwanted births, the spread of sicknesses and the resulting suffering.

The sterilizations of a total of 18 animals is the prevention of over 2 Million unwanted puppies and kittens in just 6 years. This would have a huge positive impact for the animal population here on the island and we hope that with your help we can make this happen.

Each sterilization will cost us 25 USD and we are now in urgent need of sponsors to cover the 18 surgeries all of which amount to a total of USD 450,-.

Will you be able to help us help them?

Our biggest wish is to sterilize as many animals as we can to put a stop to suffering. The more people who can support us, the more lives we can save together.

Please make a real sustainable difference and sponsor one or two animals who have no one else to rely on but us. To donate click the link in our bio or see our donate highlight button and note ‘sterilization’ on your transfer.

From them all and us, thank you so much for your support. 🙏🏻

The transformation of Seli ❤️‍🩹

In the beginning of March Seli caught the attention of our team while she was roaming a side road in which we were feeding one of our street dogs.

While at first thinking she was a stray, she then lead us to her home where we met her family who we educated about her treatable condition.

As many others, Seli suffered from mange which is one of the most common skin diseases we see in strays but also in a lot of owned dogs here in Bali. She was constantly scratching herself from the intense itch that her skin became inflamed and red raw and her hair fell out.

We started her healing by providing regular additional nutritious food to improve Seli’s overall state, followed by deworming and one dose of Bravecto that gave her comfort and effectively cured her advanced mange.

Seli was furthermore spayed and rabies vaccinated through our program that completed her health package.

This sweet little girl transformed beautifully and judging by her bright smile she must be feeling very happy about it too. 🫶🏻

Helping dogs just like her is only possible in togetherness with you. With your kind support you allow us to bring hope and relief to the ones in need.

Please consider to make a donation today to heal many more dogs with us that are still out there suffering.

USD 5 helps to deworm one dog.
USD 10 helps to feed one dog for one week.
USD 25 helps to treat mange in up to four dogs.
USD 50 helps to vaccinate + sterilize one dog.

Click the link in our bio to donate or sign up on our medication tier on Patreon for monthly support.

From our hearts to yours, thank you so much. We appreciate you. 🙏🏻

🩷 Adopt Ria 🩷

This pretty little girl and her brother were pulled out of the sewer that runs right behind our Safe House when they were both tiny.

Lovingly nurtured by our wonderful team they throve into happy little pups with no trauma who have been waiting patiently for over four months to be adopted.

She and her brother have loosened their strings to each other over the past couple of weeks as they built close friendships to some of the other dogs in our care, which showed us that they now can be adopted separately but ideally into a home with other pets and/ or children.

As a chihuahua mix Ria is expected to stay small in size. With around six months of age, she is dewormed, flea and tick treated, vaccinated and already sterilized upon adoption.

She is totally adorable, friendly, cuddly, playful and joyful, just like pups should be.

Watch their story highlight to learn more about their heartwarming journey.

And welcome this cute bundle of joy into your life and direct message us or our partner page if you would like to adopt Ria (and/or Rio). ✨

A rescue with a happy end ❤️‍🩹

The morning after a stormy night, a puppy was found right in front of our founder Sabine’s house.

At first we thought he was purposely dumped here but as we approached him we realized that his body was weak and wet and that he couldn’t stand yet alone walk.

It was unclear how long he had already been laying there collapsed, but luckily for him he landed at the right place where immediately help was offered as soon as he was discovered.

While waiting for our team to arrive at the scene to transfer him to the vet, Sabine and Eka had already moved him to safety, providing water and food, but he remained unable to move.

He was then rushed to the clinic as an emergency where he stayed for eight days for intense treatment. No physical wounds or fractures were found, but his blood levels were low which exhausted his body.

As a male and pure Kintamani puppy wearing a collar on the day of rescue, we thought that there may be a family who was missing him. And indeed, while he was on the road to recovery, our team searched and found his home through a community group effort.

He, whose name is Blacky, got spooked by the thunderstorm that night and panicky run away from his home, terrified and lost until he fainted from exhaustion.

We have reunited Blacky with his family which was heartwarming to say the least. All are very happy to be back together again and that makes us so very happy too. Be safe, be well. Now and always Blacky.

It was a heart wrenching rescue but with a nearly immediate joyful ending. Please continue to support our good cause for the animals here in Bali for us to be able to save more lives just like his.

Can you help and sponsor a sterilization or two? ❤️‍🩹

Thousands of puppies and kittens are born each day here in Bali and there will never be enough good homes that are equipped to care for them all.

As a result, many are in danger to fall victim to sickness, neglect, abandonment or even death.

Spay and neutering as well as vaccinations remain hereby the only most compassionate method of controlling the population but also in preventing animals from suffer.

This Thursday we are holding the again our health day in which we pre registered 27 dogs and cats not only to be sterilized, but also to be vaccinated especially against rabies.

Many of who are strays with no home, and others who live with families whose little income won’t allow them to afford the necessary treatments on their own.

The sterilizations of a total of 27 animals is the prevention of over 2.5 Million unwanted puppies and kittens in just 6 years. ‼️ This would have a huge positive impact for the animal population here on the island and we hope that with your help we can make this happen.

Each sterilization will cost us 25 USD. We are now in urgent need of sponsors to cover the 27 surgeries all of which amount to a total of USD 675,-.

Will you be able to help us help them?

Please if you can, sponsor one or two, they have no one else to rely on. The more people who can help us, the more we can sterilize.

♥️ Adopted ♥️

We have such wonderful news to share with you about our sweet little girl Foxy that we believe will fill your hearts as much as it fills ours.

Finally and so so deserving of it, she found her forever home, in Maria and Noel who had fallen head over heels in love with her when they visited us in our Safe House.

We rescued Foxy back in February 2024 from the street where she was cruelly dumped sick, suffering from a huge tumor on her mammary glands, as well as TVT cancer.

She then survived two major surgeries and five chemotherapy sessions that cleared her from cancer and during it all she had never lost her spirit, her happiness nor her bright smile.

Foxy waited so very patiently for over a year to then being adopted. That patience was now rewarded with the most loving forever family anyone could ever wish for.

All are incredibly happy and that makes us so very happy too. Our hearts couldn’t be more full.

Thank you for choosing to adopt and not shop. We are so grateful for the wonderful future Foxy has been given.

We have many more beautiful rescued pups waiting to be adopted. Please visit our Safe House to meet them or message our partner page for inquiries.

We believe you will fall in love too. ✨

To keep a dog chained is to deprive them of life ‼️

Sadly, chaining dogs is a very complicated issue that we face here in Bali.

When we go from house to house, registering animals for our sterilization events, we see them. Dogs spending their lives trapped on chains.

While for us this kind of confinement is a cruel punishment, for many local owners here it is a belief to protect their pets; from getting pregnant, lost, hit on the road, poisoned or mistreated in any other way.

Unfortunately, most are not realizing how much their dogs are suffering. Given these poor living conditions, it is no surprise that those dogs oftentimes become aggressive, depressed, unsocial and sick.

Even if we wished we could just take away all of them, it wouldn’t always help if we did. People simply would get another one instead and repeat the same mistakes.

What we learned in all the years of rescuing animals in Bali is that the most efficient way to help those neglected dogs is to work with the local communities and to educate about animal welfare and responsible pet ownership while also to spay and neuter as many animals as we can to prevent future suffering.

This is once again what we did here.

That we discovered Mochi, is now giving her the chance of a better and healthier future life within her family. We have registered her (but also her dog friend Rocky) for our upcoming sterilization event to prevent her from reproducing, the reason why she is chained.

To put a stop to unwanted births and the resulting neglect, please sustain our sterilization program via the link in our bio. There is always more work to be done and we remain committed to focus on long-term solutions to animal suffering. 🙏🏻

More sterilizations done thanks to your support ❤️‍🩹

We are pleased to inform that yesterday we successfully spayed and neutered a total of 29 animals.

12 female dogs, 3 male dogs, 9 female cats and 5 male cats are now fixed and looking towards a healthier and better future life.

With this kindest cut of all, the birth and the resulting suffer of thousands of unwanted puppies and kittens could be prevented.

Furthermore 25 rabies vaccines, 2 complete vaccinations and 1 chemotherapy therapy were given.

We are once again thankful to vet Ketut and his assistant vet Cendy for their tireless work, our team for their dedication and YOU, our wonderful supporters, for allowing this event for the animals to happen.

Please continue to be part of our most necessary mission and contribute to a life saving cause for Bali‘s animals through sterilization. It is and always will be the one and only sustainable way to prevent future suffering.

Sterilization sponsors needed to reduce suffering ❤️‍🩹

Did you know that 1 female dog and her offspring can produce up to 67.000 puppies in only 6 years?

And that 1 female cat and her offspring can produce up to 420.000 kittens in just 7 years?

To break this birth cycle and prevent more animals from suffering, we need to keep on sterilizing as many as we can. And we hope that with your help we can. 🙏🏻

Tomorrow we are holding another health day in which we pre registered 18 dogs and cats to be vaccinated and to have life-changing surgery.

Each sterilization will hereby cost us 25,- USD. We are now in urgent need of sponsors to cover the 18 operations all of which amount to a total of 450,- USD.

Will you be able to help us help them?

To donate please click the link in our bio or see our donate highlight button and note ‘sterilization’ on your transfer.

From them all and us, thank you so much for your support. 🫶🏻

💖 Adopt Naya 💖

Our sweetest and happiest little girl Naya is ready to find her forever family.

Only at the end of February we rescued her after long negotiations from a horrendous life in a too small cage.

Despite that sad past, Nayas spirit and heart were never broken. She is best described as a bundle of joy and carries no emotional trauma.

With just seven months of age she is as playful as a puppy should be, whether it is with toys, humans or dogs, big and small, she loves them all.

She is a mixed breed who we expect to stay small in size. Upon adoption she is dewormed, vaccinated and soon to be spayed.

Whether you are looking for an incredibly sweet lap dog to spoil and who will in return give you unconditional love, or a friendly, obedient companion for your human and/or furry child, then Naya will be your perfect match.

Watch her story highlight to learn more about her heartwarming story and get in touch with us or our partner page if you would like to adopt Naya. ✨

New Rescue. Please click the link in our Bio and donate towards his much needed care.

We received a report by kind Ibu Rian about a little injured puppy that she found stumbling along the road side in front of her house. She took him to safety, called us for help and we rushed to his rescue as soon as we saw the images coming through.

With not even three months of age, this tiny boy has been in unimaginable agony. Lost and frightened all alone in the street, not knowing the territorial boundaries, he was attacked by a much bigger dog that left him with a bite mark on his neck.

Sadly left untreated for too long, the punctured wound became so huge and infected that it caused him immense pain, even to the point that he must have had difficulties to eat and drink.

The vets at the clinic are now so carefully and expertly taking care of him. The wound has been cleaned and he is receiving painkillers and antibiotics to stop a septic infection to spread. Furthermore he is being treated for malnutrition and his low blood levels that causes anemia.

The little boy who we lovingly called Jojo (meaning „raised by god“), was lucky that he was found but the severity of the injury has put him in a critical condition.

At the clinic he wanted to eat, showing us that he is fighting to survive. And the vets and us are fighting with him and for him.

Please if you believe like us that Jojo deserves a wonderful, future life, help us to heal his body and soul and consider donating today via the link in our bio or see our donate highlight button.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. 🙏🏻

Change through education ❤️‍🩹

Every day our teams deliver the message of animal welfare to the local communities when being out in the streets and going from one house to the next, one village at a time in our area of Kediri, Tabanan, Bali.

While we are focusing on registering as many dogs and cats for our spay and neuter events as possible in order to reduce overpopulation and the resulting suffering, we are also always supporting with food, medicine and education.

When we discovered mama dog Blacky in the street, we had her leading us to her house in which we met her two nearly two months old puppies Lisa and Dimas as well as her human family who welcomed us warmly to their home.

We have educated the owners about the dos and don’ts in dogs food, registered mama dog Blacky for sterilization, explained the cause of her beginning skin condition which we then treated and we provided deworming for the pups.

We are also always aiming especially to encourage the empathy that comes naturally to children. Young Satya quickly learned how the needs of his pets are similar to his own, what he needs to do to take good care of them and that if you raise them with kindness from the start, they will protect and love you forever.

Our combination programs of improving animal health and balancing the population through sterilization, is the most essential project in our mission. We believe that this can lead to a change in behavior that then in return will create safer communities for the people and the animals in Bali alike.

Click the link in Bio to become part of our vision. 🙏🏻
