*** Flea and Tick Season is in full force ***

Please watch out for the pesky critters, especially if your pups have been down the bog, helping you bring home the turf 😉.

Even if your pet is up to date with treatment, I am finding a lot of ticks on your furry friends ( and even my own)! 🕷

After walking your pet or them being out in the grass, give them a brush down outside to prevent the ticks falling off in the house.

We always recommend getting flea & tick medications directly from your vet rather than online or from a pet store. Your vet knows your pet's health history and can ask you about other pets in the home and ensure you get the right medication for your pet's needs.

🐕 I have now been in contact with everyone who was due to be groomed in January and February. If you were on the waitlist and have not been contacted...please pop me a message.

🐕 If I have offered you an appointment, and you have not responded; this appointment will be offered to someone else who is waiting.

🐕 Feel free to contact me for any advice on caring for your dogs coat and I will happily advise.

🐕 For everyone that has a new furry arrival during lockdown, please get them used to brushing and different sounds and noises outside the home environment and let them spend a bit of time on their own so they are comfortable in their own company.

🐕 It is important to get all smallies on a regular grooming schedule ( especially long/ curly coats) as soon as they have their second vaccination.

Due to LEVEL 5 RESTRICTIONS being extended, we will unfortunately be staying closed until the 5th March. I will be in contact with everyone who has bookings, to reschedule for as soon as possible.

If any of my customers have any concerns with their dogs coat, matting or skin conditions drop me a message and I can arrange a "welfare groom" with a written confirmation of from your vet stating why your dog requires grooming.

In the meantime, stay safe and keep on brushing those pooches ❤

💦 A little reminder from Miss Lulu 💦

If you're looking at your dog and think.. Hmmm... He could do with a groom soon. Book now, the longer you leave it the worse their coat will get.

If you are a regular and have not yet booked your next groom... I would advise to book, appointments are limited and it saves you going on a waitlist.

If you have a new puppy, the earlier you start it's grooming routine the less behavioral and coat issues you will have.

In order to keep our pooches feeling fresh, de shedded and matt free...I encourage all of my clients to get on a grooming schedule, and pre book their next appointment after every groom, ensuring you will never have to be put on a waitlist again. If you have recently been into us, and have not booked your next appointment, and would like to do so then please drop me a message.

If you are not on a grooming schedule there may be a wait time of up to 2 weeks, so please book in advance.

We advise.....

🐶 Double coated dogs: Collies, Labs , Poms, Chows get groomed ATLEAST every 8-12 weeks

🐶 Curly coated Dogs : Labradoodles, Cockapoos, Cavachon, Bichon , Poodle, poodle Crosses ATLEAST every 6-8weeks ( depending on length of last groom and brushing time at home)

🐶 Silky Coated dogs: Shih Tzu, Yorkshire Terrier , Maltese, Schnauzer ATLEAST every 8-10 weeks.

If your pup has been groomed, and you are struggling with brushing, then why not book them in for a wash and brush in between grooms. This will help keep those pesky matts at bay.
