From time to time we come across some rare kittens and when are foster family said this is a first of the breed our rescue has taken in. Blue tabby British Shorthair cats are very unusual. Whilst British Shorthairs are some of the most recognisable cats in the world, blue tabbies remain a very mysterious colour combination.

The two most iconic British Shorthair colours around are the solid blue British Shorthair and the black silver tabby British Shorthair - think of the Whiskas cat! But there are so many other wonderful combinations…..and the blue tabby combines the best of both of those iconic cats.

The vast majority of British Shorthair tabbies are black tabbies: they have various patterns in black with then either golden or silver colours underneath. But British Shorthair tabbies also come in blue! The blue British Shorthair tabby has an unusual, almost ethereal appearance...the subtlety of their markings is striking in its uniqueness. They are incredibly beautiful to look at.

There are few things cuter than a kitten. 🤩 These kittens have been staying with us for the last two weeks and are due to go home with their mom in the next couple of days. However, they are all looking for new homes. If anyone is interested in giving them a home send me a PM and I’ll pass on the owners details. There are 4 of them. I only got 2 photos today. There’s also a full tabby and a full black. They are very well looked after and well socialised.

Guys,it's absolutely pouring down with unwanted cats and kittens at the moment. 🥲
Despite our huge neutering campaign, people are still allowing cats outdoors without being neutered..
So this is where we're at:

CLOSED TO INTAKES 🚫(with waiting list)

VERY BUSY DOING HOMECHECKS ⏭️
VERY BUSY GETTING VET WORK DONE ON THOSE IN OUR CARE.⏭️

All while continuing our TNR scheme ,holding down full time jobs, full time families and our own darling pets.🐈🐈‍⬛🐕
If we don't answer the phone,or an email or respond immediately to a message its because we're TOO BUSY.
It's not because we don't care, it's because actually care too much 💔..

Please be patient, be proactive and dont presume we have a 🧚‍♀️magic wand to fix (y)our problems.

Tortoiseshell Cat Appreciation Day!

April 17th is tortoiseshell cat appreciation day.
Here are some of the beautiful Tortie's we are lucky enough to see. Tortie’s are almost always girls, and are often considered to have ‘tortie attitude’! However I’ve met many lovely natured torties!

As of May 1st our rates will increase for all new bookings. The rate increase will not affect bookings already made for 2024. And my multiple cat rate structure (for cats from same household sharing) will stay the same.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all my loyal customers for entrusting me with the care of your beloved cats, who I know are an integral part of your family.

I have had the privilege of serving many of you since the beginning, in some cases witnessing the growth of your kittens but most importantly Ive gotten to know your feline companions of all ages.

I am saddened along with those who have shared the heartbreaking news of the loss of their elderly cats or the unfortunate passing of some due to tragic circumstances.

And I’ve gotten to know many of you yourselves over the years and look forward to a quick catch up at drop off or collection times.

Thank you so much for trusting me to care for your feline family member/members. I hope to see many of you over the busy season of Summer 2024. 🐈🐈

One of our guest cats is looking for a new home. Unfortunately her owner needs to rehome her due to her own health issues. Owner is heartbroken to have to part with her and only wants the best loving home for her.

Bella a beautiful large black & white 3.5 year old who likes to lounge around all day and is a wonderful companion cat. She is fully up to date with all vaccinations. If you know anyone looking for a companion cat please get in contact with me and I will put you in contact with the owner. 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛
