From time to time we come across some rare kittens and when are foster family said this is a first of the breed our rescue has taken in. Blue tabby British Shorthair cats are very unusual. Whilst British Shorthairs are some of the most recognisable cats in the world, blue tabbies remain a very mysterious colour combination.

The two most iconic British Shorthair colours around are the solid blue British Shorthair and the black silver tabby British Shorthair - think of the Whiskas cat! But there are so many other wonderful combinations…..and the blue tabby combines the best of both of those iconic cats.

The vast majority of British Shorthair tabbies are black tabbies: they have various patterns in black with then either golden or silver colours underneath. But British Shorthair tabbies also come in blue! The blue British Shorthair tabby has an unusual, almost ethereal appearance...the subtlety of their markings is striking in its uniqueness. They are incredibly beautiful to look at.

There are few things cuter than a kitten. 🤩 These kittens have been staying with us for the last two weeks and are due to go home with their mom in the next couple of days. However, they are all looking for new homes. If anyone is interested in giving them a home send me a PM and I’ll pass on the owners details. There are 4 of them. I only got 2 photos today. There’s also a full tabby and a full black. They are very well looked after and well socialised.

Guys,it's absolutely pouring down with unwanted cats and kittens at the moment. 🥲
Despite our huge neutering campaign, people are still allowing cats outdoors without being neutered..
So this is where we're at:

CLOSED TO INTAKES 🚫(with waiting list)

VERY BUSY DOING HOMECHECKS ⏭️
VERY BUSY GETTING VET WORK DONE ON THOSE IN OUR CARE.⏭️

All while continuing our TNR scheme ,holding down full time jobs, full time families and our own darling pets.🐈🐈‍⬛🐕
If we don't answer the phone,or an email or respond immediately to a message its because we're TOO BUSY.
It's not because we don't care, it's because actually care too much 💔..

Please be patient, be proactive and dont presume we have a 🧚‍♀️magic wand to fix (y)our problems.
