Why didn't the government ban this breed soon after a boy was badly mauled last year? Now they have a death on their hands.

There are no banned breeds in Ireland but the type was made illegal in England and Wales last year after series of attacks

Lily has a new housemate Trebles, a 4yo rescue. Has made himself at home pretty quickly. Despite having been given a brand-new bed-house and soft cage, Trebles has decided to squat in Lily’s bed - and Lily is being remarkably tolerant of this imposition!

Mummy tells me that today is my 8th birthday. I don’t know what that means. But I do know that this evening we had a birthday party with my favourite people, Hiral, Klaudia & Aisling. Klaudia baked some special peanut butter & banana treats for me. They all drank something called Prosecco & had a barbeque (all vegetables, yuck) & said Happy Birthday Scout & they seem to have enjoyed the party as much as I did
