A huge thank you to Dun longhairs canine society for inviting me to judge their obedience competition 😊✨

We have the pleasure of scheduling obedience classes again this year, with one of our judges bing Ms Tracey Williamson;

“I have been an active Obedience competitor and dog trainer for over 20 years. I along with my daughter Ava, run Willvady dog training school in county Tipperary. Together we have breed, show and compete with both Miniature poodles and Australian Shepherds. I am Obedience judge for over 10 years, I am looking forward to my upcoming judging appointment at Dunlaoighre Championship show.”

Keep safe in the sun 🐾❤

Walk your dog in the early morning or late in the evening when temperatures are cooler. This will reduce their risk of heatstroke. Be particularly careful if your dog is old, overweight or suffers from breathing difficulties.

Heat stroke in dogs is essentially a high temperature not caused by a fever. It occurs when dogs are no longer able to self-regulate and keep their temperature at a comfortable level. Worryingly, heat stroke in dogs can be fatal in as little as 15 minutes. Don’t take the risk and make sure your pet isn’t overheating in the sun. If you think your dog has heat stroke, contact your vet immediately or, if out-of-hours, find your nearest emergency vet.

Hi all, a quick covid update in regards to training.
As of next week, we are back doing a limited amount of private lessons or small groups of 2 -3 people.
Ava is available to train your dog if you are unable due to any circumstance. We are also available to walk your dogs. All covid guidelines will be implemented.
