Mata mata turtles are from South America. Its shell is rough and knobby. Mata mata turtles have large flat shaped head and a really wide mouth. Its nose is a long snorkel shape.

Due to their adult size they would be more suited to an experienced turtle keeper.

They are called Fire skinks because of the red and orange colours on their bodies, black patterns on the sides and legs and blue towards the tip of the tail. They native to Western Africa where they inhabit woodland area.

They love to burrow in the substrate.

The answer is!!! An Elephant trunk snake We have had this little fella a few months and he is thriving! Elephant trunk snakes are completely aquatic. The skin of an elephant trunk snake is loose, baggy, and wrinkly. The scales are rough and small. Each scale has a triangular ridge. Elephant trunk snakes have a muscular build and short tail. They have a broad, snouted head that’s the same width as their body. The eyes and nostrils are positioned on top of the snake’s head. The elephant trunk snake’s common name derives from its elephant trunk-like body shape. #elephanttrunksnake #watersnake #coolsnakesofinstagram
