THE RANCHMANS METHOD

Smokey was backed in August during our three day clinic. Where we demonstrated a step by step starting of two untouched horses the ranch way. Round pen work focusing on timing, feel, pressure and release to the first saddling and first ride.

Smokey took it all in her stride and earned herself a little holiday after her big debut.
Her holiday has came to an end and she came back in to work like she never stopped.
This is going to be one calm steady horse

Bullhorn Ranch is opening the gates for a year of Western riding, skill-building, and pure countryside adventure — and you’re invited.

Whether you’re brand new to the Western saddle or hungry to sharpen your roping and flagwork technique, our friendly, hands-on clinics will give you the confidence you’ve been looking for. With experienced instructor and a welcoming atmosphere, every session is designed to help riders of all levels grow, learn, and have fun.

Here’s what’s coming up:

25th January – Intro to Western:
Discover the foundations of Western riding in a supportive, relaxed environment.

21st February – Roping:
Get your first loop in the air or refine your throw with practical, on-the-ground coaching.

22nd February – Flagwork:
Discover the first steps of working your horse on a cow through flagwork

14th March – Intro to Western:
A second chance to try the session everyone talks about — perfect for beginners or anyone wanting a refresher.
