Hi NWPC would like to wish all its members, parents and friends a very happy xmas and prosperous new year. Our santa rideout will be on 28th Dec at 11.30am in cruit it would be great to have a nice turnout to finish of 2017 and hear your plans for next year. Everyone welcome , especially those who were busy with study / weekend work this term. Past and future members / parents welcome to come for a lovely walk or help out our little ones.

North west pony club survives!!
As our AGM wasn't fruitful at producing a willing DC to take the reins of our pony club another committee meeting was arranged to decide its future or defeat! Thankfully all attending were both enthusiastic and willing to be part of a new committee to revitalise our club, A trip to the Dublin horse show in August was agreed for all partaking members maybe even to cheer on one of our own!!😜😜
Our next outing will be a santa rideout at cruit island on 28th Dec tacked up n ready for off at 11.30am prize for best dressed rider "xmas theme" kindly sponsored by Ward seafoods.

Don't forget folks our AGM 2017 for parents is tomorrow Monday 20th November at 8pm in Caisleann Oir, Annagry. The post of DC and Treasurer are due for renewal at end of this 3 year term, so your attendance is important to secure the future of the branch!

***** H TEST 2017 *****
So very proud of Kieran and Courtney who passed their H Test at Gurteen College, Tipperary, along with their comrades from East Donegal Jade, Kellie, Sarah, Betsy, Vicky and Jill. It was a pleasure to see the county and Area 6 so well represented at this national testing day for Irish Pony Club.
The mammoth task of preparing for this test could not have been achieved without the dedication and commitment from their trainer Daniel Lusby who as always went above and beyond the call of duty to knock them into shape, and support them on the day.

A massive thankyou to Laura Morrissey (and Jade😉) for organising the training!

To our younger members I hope that these photos can show where the journey of being a part of the wonderful experience of Pony Cub can take you, from crosspoles up!

Apologies to Roseleen McGinley as I have been reliably informed that Hillbilly Rocky had indeed previously placed in the All Ireland pony club festival in the Combined training with Roseleen as his highly competent jockey, taking first place in the dressage and third overall in the Combined Training.
Rocky was also very successful on the eventing field and at the festival when paired with his next rider Bridin Walsh.
I think it's fair to say this is one very special pony!

Massive congratulations to Andrea Greene who placed 5th in the Pony Club All Ireland Junior Combined Training yesterday in Mullingar. A great achievement!
A special mention to her fabulous partner Hillbilly Rocky who is no stranger to the festival having qualified regularly, indeed having been a top scorer in the dressage phase on more than one occasion, and this year putting in a perfect performance in the jumping phase too!
