A brilliant week of learning & meeting new people this week while completing my Mental Health First Aid training ran by Kerry Mental Health at MTU Tralee. To top off the week we ran a wonderful workshop at Clippity Clop for teenagers on Saturday afternoon as part of Kerry Mental Health & Wellbeing Fest. A huge thank you to NEWKD Di**le for sponsoring the workshop ❤️🐴

👻HALLOWEEN/MIDTERM UPDATE👻
This Halloween we have decided to run a SPOOKTACULAR Sunday morning Social Club instead of a mid week camp on SUNDAY 27TH OCTOBER from 11 to 12.30.
All decorations will be sensory friendly, nothing too scary and no loud noises. We would love to see some of the children in their costumes if they are happy to wear them🦹🧛‍♂️🦸‍♀️
We will have pony dress up, pony painting, fun/friendly Halloween games, Halloween art & of course time with our horses too🐴 As always places are limited to keep a low child to adult ratio so early booking is advisable to avoid disappointment. Some pictures of last years games👻😈👻

So the time has come for Clippity Clop to spread its wings as Tralee Equestrian Centre return to offering mainstream horse riding lessons only. Before anyone panics we are NOT CLOSING🎉🎉🎉 & we will operate as normal until Xmas at our current location. In January we will then reopen at our new stables which will be in the Tralee area. We as a team will do everything possible to make the transition as smooth as possible for everyone & will keep ye updated on our journey.
Over the past few days I've tried to ring & message as many people as possible so apologies if I've missed anyone🙈 A huge thank you to everyone for their fabulous words it means so much to us. We can't wait for 2025❤️🥰🐴

It was an absolute honour to be asked as part of the Acorn 9 graduate programme to encourage other female entrepreneurs in Kerry to apply for Acorns 10.
Choosing to start your own business can be daunting but having the support of amazing people around you helps to make the journey easier. No one person has all the answers but with a team like the Acorns programme has to offer you, it makes finding those answers a lot easier! The confidence, knowledge & support in every sense of the word that this programme has given me in driving the business I'm so passionate about could not be put in one sentence! To have fellow Kerry woman Caroline Reidy of The HR Suite as my mentor I knew I was in good hands. To have other like minded women with amazing businesses to bounce ideas off, ask questions to etc & to be able to reach out to when times are tough is priceless & the support doesn't end when the programme does!
If you have any doubt in applying or want to know more about the programme I'm happy to answer any questions. The deadline for applications is September 20th 2024.
The Acorns programme is funded under the Rural Innovation Fund through the Department of Agriculture, Food & The Marine.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our Summer camps. It has been wonderful to watch some children progress from a 20 minute session to spending 2 hours with us at camp. One of my favourite parts of this summer was seeing so many sibling do camps or sessions together regardless of their ability. To see these bonds really is something special❤️ To meet so many parents & grandparents of children who may normally come with their school was another highlight for me. It was so lovely getting to know ye all. Again a huge thank you to everyone for supporting us here at Clippity Clop from all the team including our wonderful horses🥰❤️🐴

🎉✨️PONY CAMP UPDATE 🎉✨️
Due to popular demand we've decided to add two more dates to our pony camp, Tuesday 20th August & Wednesday 21st August.
Camp days can be done daily or if booked for 2 days a discount will be given, a discount applies to siblings aswell.
Camp runs from 10 to 12. Activities include grooming, games, arts & crafts, pony painting & of course horse riding 🐴 Early booking is advisable as numbers are limited. All bookings & enquiries please through WhatsApp to Orla on 087817 5172 😊
