***Heat Stroke***

I know a lot of dog owners out there are panicking about their dogs been to hot and exhausted in this heat.

Please remember unless your dog is badly matted or has a huge amount of dead hair, their coat doesn't affect their body temperature. So no need to start shaving them to the skin.
Dogs regulate their body temperature from their tongues and paws. Therefore its extremely important they have access to fresh water , plenty of shade and where possible cold water to stand in to cool them down.
Don't exercise them in the middle of the day or during high temperatures, even just a walk can cause heat stroke which in turn can cause death if not caught on time.
