Desensitization of your dog to a brushing.

The first picture shows a lickimat these can be purchased in most pet stores.

The second is of what you can put on it. 1.Manuka honey which has natural anti inflammatory and anti bacterial properties

2. Natual smooth peanut butter make sure it has no sweetners.

3. coconut oil, good for the hair and skin

4. small pouch of wet food

In the Third photo is his brush, I use a slicker for getting out the knots and the comb to make the finish look cleaner, it also helps make sure you've got all the knots out.

Lastly smooth out you choice of item onto your lickimat, I went with wet food. Put this on the floor and as your dog is enjoying its tasty treat take your brush and gently start to brush them. Start with the back and sides as these distract them less. Do it for 5 minutes the first night and each night increase the time. once they are fairly comfortable with that then more onto other areas on their body.

I find brushing my Zeus quite a relaxing and enjoyable task. Everyone should be able to enjoy brushing their dogs ❤

My little man Zeus Had his Bath much needed after his forest walks in the mornings. Only weak for him when hes done 😍
