Please ensure all pets are safe & secure from tonight as the storm is rolling in during the early hours of Friday morning. If your dogs are outside and you’re unable to bring them in, make sure their kennels, huts, bedding are secure and well covered. There could be a lot of falling trees and debris due to the high winds.

The morning updates are out for , and the readings are grim!

Coastal areas in the West are expected to see the worst of the winds, with gusts in excess of 180 km/h. Mace Head will likely record the strongest winds, followed by Belmullet, Finner, and Malin Head. Our own weather station could also feature prominently—if it survives!

Coastal counties are forecasted to experience gusts exceeding 140 or even 150 km/h.

Further inland, gusts exceeding 130 km/h are expected in many areas.

Please stay safe and monitor local advisories and warningns. I will keep you updated throughout the day, so watch this space!

Please please keep your pets warm and safe tonight. We feel the sudden drop in temperatures which means they do too. Make sure if they are outside tomorrow their water isn’t frozen and they have access to a warm place to lie down. Unless you own a husky… then they are gonna be in heaven 🤣🐶

Don’t forget the dog show registration is from 5:30 this evening at the tennis court behind the community hall in the village 🐩🐾

Show starts at 6:30pm sharp!

PLEASE BRING WATER FOR YOUR DOG… I won’t have access to water outside so please bring a little bowl and some water.

I will have P**p bags if needed.

Looking for one more judge for the dog show on the 26th ! Someone with a knowledge of breeds preferred but it is only a fun dog show. Will be needed from 4pm -6:00 (ish). Pop me a PM if you’re interested 🐾🐶

Registration for the Dog Show on the 26th of July is now open!

Forms can be collected from myself and payment made in advance. You can also register on the day but I strongly advise registering in advance as it’s gonna be a busy one!

The categories are listed below along with cost of entry.

The Dog Show will take place in the tennis court (behind the community hall) at approximately 5:30pm.

If you are registering on the day we will be taking registration from 4pm (ish) onwards. I’l confirm exact times closer to the date.

There will be an amazing prize of a custom print from The Furry Frame (check out his socials) for the overall winner as well as rosettes in each category!

Hi All!

I have super limited availability over the summer so I strongly advise booking in advance for the coming weeks! I won’t be working much as the kiddies will be off and I’ll have lots of entertaining to do and trying not to pull my own hair out in the process 😂
