💫 Patient Spotlight 💫

Meet Cooper. Cooper recently thought it would be a great idea to eat a sock, swallowing it whole. Turns out it made him quite sick, causing him to vomit and making him unable to eat or drink.

Luckily his owners brought him straight in to us and we were able to take an X-ray showing us the sock which was obstructing his small intestine.

We surgically removed the offending sock and Cooper was back to himself within 24 hours. We hope he’s learned his lesson and will stay out of the sock drawer in future.
