When Tommy from Failte Ireland asked me to be on a panel about Food & Drink in Tourism, I agreed and thought it would be good experience to have.

I was alongside Niamh from Claire from & Catherine from , totally out of my league 😬

It was only when I got the email showing the list of atendees the day before that I started to get a little nervous 🫣 Some of Dublins best from hotels to attractions.

I think it went well and feedback after was very good. is an lovely venue and they put on an amazing spread of bites too.

I even got to catch up with and managed to get a selfie after several disastrous attempts by me 😂

Yesterday I hosted a business presentation and farm tour to a great group of students from the University of Florida Innovation Academy at the University of Florida

They were here in Ireland for the last few weeks studying and visiting different businesses and mine was their last visit on their trip.

I got lots of good questions and think they all enjoyed the fresh heather comb honey

Their lecturer Charlie emailed yesterday "Thank you for a great visit and presentation today. My students said this was one of their favorite visits of their trip."

It's brilliant to get brilliant feedback like this.

Wishing them all the best in their future careers and a safe trip back to the University of Florida

I'm still in shock today after what happened last night 😬

I was shortlisted in the food category of the Irish Country Magazine Irish Made Awards and went down to the awards ceremony. I never thought that I'd win. The category was packed with the countries top Irish food producers.

When they called out my name I was genuinely shocked and so apologies to everyone there I didn't have a speech prepared.

I'll post up a video or two this week of the event. It was a night I'll never forget, winning the food category at a national event with so many incredible businesses there is just unreal 😃

Thanks to everyone that voted for me in the public vote and also to the judges and Irish Country Magazine for making this happen 🙌

Its been a busy day today so I'm a little slow on the socials, out strapping down the hives with Storm Amy blowing around.

Yesterday was the final beekeeping experience of the year and finished it off with yet another fantastic group 🙌

It looked like it was going to be a washout but the rain stayed away and the bees were on their best behavior 🐝🐝🐝

Thanks again to everyone who came to one of my events over the summer months 😃

Unfortunately thats it until next May, I've so many requests looking for some more dates but the bees are shutting down for the winter.

I'll have the dates for 2026 going live shortly

Loving the interactions with most of the groups, lots of questions and genuinely interested to learn 🙌😃

One more left next weekend and then thats them finished until next May. I've already got people asking for dates 😬

Had a couple of no shows yesterday which always amazes me that people pay amd and don't show up. Wonder if this is the norm? 🤔
