Please do not walk your dogs in this heat, niggt time about 10 or 11pm is cooler but one walk could result in Fatal Heatstroke.

Keep your dog in the shade, have fresh cold water freely available out of the sun, use a fan if you have one or cooling pad (dont use cooling pads in the garden the gel will heat up). You can use a cold water paddling pool in the shade but make sure the water doesnt heat.

Fake grass heats up to dangerous levels for dogs and can burn them.

Never leave your dog in the car, they can over heat and die within minutes.

Just to update everyone as I am getting a lot of calls and texts. In the Republic of Ireland dog groomers are not allowed to open except for welfare cases. As Always the Irish government mess it up for animal health and welfare and unfortunately that means dogs have to get into a matted state before they can be relieved of their discomfort😡. Insurance companies will not cover general grooming at this time. If you are an existing customer and feel your dogs welfare is suffering because it is not being groomed please let me know.

With Christmas decorating in full swing remember Poinsettia, the popular Christmas plant is poisonous to dogs and cats. They are attracted to its sweet taste and all parts of the plant are dangerous. If your pet manages to ingest any part of the plant, get to a vet ASAP.

The last week I have not been receiving calls, didnt realise there was a problem. If you have been trying to call me, I apologise, it is back working now. All whatsapp etc have been received.

So as you may know or are wondering no grooming will be happening for the time being. Looks like it will.be a few weeks so please ensuring your dog is going to need grooming that you put your name on the list. December is the busiest month and many appointments are already booked
If your dog needs grooming or will need grooming this side of Christmas please let me know asap to ensure your dogs appointment.

Having to say goodbye to a dog is one of the hardest things. Seen this and thought it nice to share for anybody who has had that pain. I know alot of my lovely furry friends that have passed to Rainbow bridge have families missing them so for you I share this. X######
