Good evening beautiful people. As we are all aware the mental season is well & truly upon us. Being a small business every appointment counts. We send reminder texts the day before so there is no excuse for no shows. I have had 4 people in the last 3 days not show up. This is not acceptable or fair on me or my girls & it won't be tolerated any longer. If you are a no show you will be put to the end of my list for appointments plus you will have to pay 50% of your missed groom on top of any rebooking fees that apply. There will be no exceptions. . I have to protect my business & my very hard working girls wages.

Good evening beautiful people. One of the hardest things about being in business for nearly 8 years is that we have to say goodbye to some of our original clients. Over the weekend I got the very sad news that Louie passed away. Lou Lou as we affectionately called him belonged to an elderly gentleman 95 years young. Their bond & relationship was such a beautiful thing to see. Sleep well little Lou Lou 💙💙💙

Good evening lovely people. A friend of mine is selling 3 Frenchie pups. She has 1 female & 2 males left. They are gorgeous & if I didn't have a zoo at home already I'd be in dangerous territory myself Lol. They are all wormed, vet checked & have their first round of vaccinations. They are microchipped & come with papers. She is looking for €1500 per pup. If interested her husbands name is John & his mobile number is 0896010597. We got some very sad news yesterday. A long time client passed away yesterday, Ringo the Cockapoo. This good boy had been coming to us since the beginning of Park N Bark & was always a delight to have in the shop. Even though he hated & I mean hated other dogs he had nothing but love for me & my girls. Have a great time over rainbow Bridge Ringo, you will be sorely missed. Xx

Good morning beautiful people. Due to the sudden death of my father I won't be available to answer any of your email enquiries. There will also be a delay in my girls returning your calls as they are holding things together for me while I'm abroad with my family. Some appointments may need to be rearranged as I am not available to groom. Your ongoing patience & support are greatly appreciated at this very difficult time

6 month old Paddy the German Shepherd/Lurcher X came by yesterday for his first ever groom. Quiet nervous to start but he got there in the end. A happy hoodie for blow drying & he was as good as gold. Who else thinks he looks like he's labouring on a building site in the hoodie? 🤣🤣🤣

Good morning beautiful people. Just a quick update on appointments. I have only 5 appointments left for the full month of March. As we are so busy, if you would like to use our services you must book in on rotation. When collecting your dog we will rebook you in for their next appointment. Another very busy week last week & we're gearing up to get ready to do it all again. There are approx 20 appointments left in March, spaced out sporadically. My wait times are now at almost 3 weeks. The only way to avoid disappointment is to make sure & rebook at every collection. Just a few little faces from last week....

We've just heard the very sad news of the passing of Hank the Tank. Myself & the team are heartbroken. He was one of our absolute favourite dogs to have in the shop. See you on the otherwise of Rainbow Bridge, our gorgeous big boy. Xx

Good afternoon wonderful clients. First off I would like to thank each & everyone of you for the amazing continued support shown to both myself & the team. In the last few months there have been a couple of very good groomers leave the area for new shores. As a result we have become extremely busy at Park n Bark. To help with this I have decided to change just a couple of small things.
We will no longer be offering walk in services, ie nails or face trims, these will be by appointment only going forward.
Our opening days are Tueday to Saturday so if you do ring us on a Monday unfortunately we won't be able to help book you in until at least the next day.
As we are so busy now, we will be putting all clients on a grooming rota, this will really help our clients to secure the appointment slot they really want.
Breed depending we always say approx 2 hrs for a dog to be groomed. Please bare in mind this is an approximate time as with dogs you never know what could delay you. Coming back to the studio to check in or see if your dog is ready without us calling you to come & collect puts an enormous amount of added pressure & stress on both us & your dog. It is very difficult to finish a groom when the dog has seen or heard their owner & only pushes the grooming time out more. This in turn then pushes our next appointment out also.

These are just small little changes that hopefully will make both our & our clients lives much easier & happier. Myself & the Team have big plans for 2024 & we very much look forward to you all coming on this journey with us.
