It's a perfect way to kick-start the new year with healthy habits for you and your pet πͺ
Here are some tips for making your walks both FUN and SAFE for your furry friend β¬οΈ
πΎ Aim for 30-60 mins per day, depending on your pet's health and age
πΎ Avoid letting your pets ingest anything on your walk
πΎ Both you and your pet should stay hydrated
πΎ Be prepared to clean up after your pet
πΎ Avoid walking on extreme weather days
πΎ Always use a leash, collar, and sure your pets microchip and vaccinations are up to date
Where are some of the places you and your dog enjoy walking?

Beautiful Bella and Myko were in with us on Friday for their medicated baths. There's nothing like a bit of pampering! ππ
Bella gets her medicated baths to help control her skin condition, and whilst they are here, they also get their teeth brush.
Did you know that dogs can brush their teeth? π¦·πͺ₯
If you'd like to book in for a medicated bath or get some help starting with brushing teeth, feel free to give our friendly team a call.

Our furry friend, Tigger, has been feeling sore and not walking as well as he should recently π₯
His owner (and our fabulous Nurse Shanice) brought him in to see what was going on π
Our vets decided it was time to take a look π
Can you guess what method the team used? π€
Answer below β¬οΈ
Here's a clue π¦΄πΈ
That's right..... it was an X-RAY!!!
Stay tuned for more posts on Tigger over the coming weeks as we give updates on his diagnosis, treatment plan, and how he is doing.

You may never have seen behind the consultation room in a veterinary practice.
So take a look at the work our vets and nurses do on the front line every day to look after animals in veterinary practices, hospitals, in the field and on call - so that they receive the best possible care.
Thanks to Molly Case for the poem you have written about our profession.
