ABOUT IVOR YOUNG
Ivor Young grew up with horses, riding his first pony at age 4 and first hunt at age 7. A founding member of Polocrosse in Ireland, he has coached the sport also in Norway and Germany, and from 2003-2007, served as Senior Vice-President of the International Polocrosse Council. Following a mishap on the Polocrosse field some 16 years ago which ultimately resulted in Ivor needing 2 hip replacements, he has developed a strong interest in all things holistic concerning humans and horses. He has studied and trained in a number of therapies including the Australian McLaren Photonic Therapy Method (Acupuncture for horses without needles, using photonic light), Ivor has also worked closely with a number of manufacturers of leading equine massage therapy equipment (in both Ireland and the U.K) in a variety of positions, including agent, distributor, senior adviser and spear-headed their On-Site Service and Training Program in both countries. The old saying that prevention is better then cure has always been at the forefront of Ivor's ethos of working with horses, hence his interest in studying and training in Equine Thermography and he uses advanced technology equipment and software in his business to deliver this service.
