Benji arrived for his appointment the other day FULL of beans!!!

Like many dogs Benji absolutely HATES his front legs being touched which required lots of maneuvering and trickery to get them finished.

Half way through the groom Benji decided he was tired and needed a nap. He plonked himself down on the table and he was actually snoring. I gave him a little break to enjoy his power nap so I could continue with his groom, which took slightly longer than expected 😅

Best boy Rocky 🤩

Springer Spaniels are such people dogs. They live to please and are the most loveable dogs. While they have TONS of energy they can be so good on the grooming table. But once those 4 paws hit the floor, it's play time.

This was only Rockys 2nd Groom and he is just so good 🩷

Beautiful Stella 😍 Stella is such a sweet and gentle girl and still only a baby.

She absolutely loves to give the biggest kisses and thinks she is a small puppy, however trapped in a giant body 😅

Paudie the very poodle 🐩 Cockapoo.

Paudie is still a baby so is still getting used to the grooming process.

He is just the most loveable little guy though and is more interested in snuggles then grooming 😍

Beautiful girl Suzie was in recently. Suzie is such a character and just loves a good cuddle.

We had to go a little bit shorter than expected on Suzies coat but is now going to be on a regular grooming schedule to maintain her beautiful coat 🥰

Suzie & Ruby were back recently for a freshen up. Its like looking at Twins and can get very confusing when grooming them 😅

They are both such placid girls and take grooming in their stride 😍

Beautiful Lexi 😍 What a stunning dog. Lexi is a Pekingese/ cavachon mix. All the elegant characteristics of a Pekingese, Beautiful Tail and ears 😍

I love the facial expressions some dogs give you when your trying to get a photo 🤣 As you can see from Lexi it was like "Are ya done yet" 😆

Ted has to be the most chilled out guy you could possibly meet. He has the most Gentlest nature and a pleasure to groom. He definitely brings a calming presce to the salon 🩷

I had a VIP in this morning to the salon 🤩

Willow was my very 1st client back on the 2nd of April this year. Feels like a life time ago but so hard to believe it's only 4 months ago!!!

I have learnt so much in these last 4 months and still plenty more to learn 🐾

How time flys when your having fun 😊

Buddy was back for a little Tidy up and doesn't be look handsome 🩷

On Buddy's last visit we had to go very short so after consultation with his mom we got Buddy back in 10 weeks later and his coat had grown back beautifully and only needed a Tidy up 😍

His mom reckoned he looked just like a fluffy white cloud when he was finished 🤩

Sometimes it can be hard to get the doggies to sit still for a picture, especially when their owner has just pulled up outside 😅

Today was a bring your dog to work kinda day 🤣

Meet Harley, the fur baby of the house hold. As a groomer I liked to say Harley absolutely loves grooming........he does......when someone else does it but not when his mom does it 😆😆

At least there will be a few less hairs in the house for a couple of weeks 😅

Handsome boy Richie 🩷 Richie was a little bit nervous for his groom so it was important to work at a slow and steady pace as not to overwhelm him to much and build up his trust.

Hopefully after a couple more visits to the grooming salon Richie will be more relaxed 😊

Like all anxious dogs once his 4 paws hit the floor when the groom was finished he was ready for some treats and head scratches 🐾

Daisy and her sister Holly were back for a tidy up. These 2 ladies are completely different breeds, however look exactly the same once they are groomed. I was very confused who was who once they were both down on the floor 😅

I had the pleasure of grooming this pretty girl Nala last week.

Nala was a little unsure about being Groomed as it was her 1st Groom. Nala like all Retrievers was just the most loveable dog 🩷

Cute Molly is just a baby and had her 1st Groom recently. When Molly arrived she was literally a big ball of hair and it was hard to determine her head from her tail 😅

Once all that baby coat was removed we got to see her beautiful velvet coat 😍

She did such a good job for her 1st Groom. A confident little lady 🩷

Teal was down in Mayo last week on his summer holidays and popped in for a freshen up before he headed back to the big smoke.

Teal was the most loveable guy. Teal was a little anxious at 1st but was the best boy for his groom 🩷

Mr Charlie was back last week for a little summer freshen up.

While Charlie may appear to have a constant grumpy facial expression he is far from a grumpy guy 😅

He takes grooming in his stride, but I know he would much prefer running through mucky fields 🤣

This little dote Elvis was in for a groom recently.

It was Elvis' 1st Groom and he was a little anxious being away from his favourite human 🩷

As a 1:1 groomer it gives the opportunity to take a little extra time before or after a groom to just sit quietly with an anxious dog and if they feel the safest and secure spot for them is sitting on your lap then so be it. It's always important to let the dog decide. Some prefer to be just left alone while others, like Elvis, prefer to be close to a human 🩷

Beautiful Boy Max was back in for his second groom and how much he has grown 🤩

Max is just a bundle of love and just soaks up cuddles. At one stage Max decided he wanted to sit up on my knees when I was on the chair. Zero concept of his sizes, but who would refuse a cuddle from this guy 🥰

Handsome boy Hector was back in for a groom recently.

I am currently working with Hector's mom to grow his coat in certain areas to achieve the breed standard Schnauzer groom. His beard is coming along fabulous 😍
