Info : Small pretty little lady in generally good condition . Currently a little timid , understandable in the circumstances . Appears to be a gentle soul who would benefit from a quiet older household . Preferably needs to be house living with access to a secure garden / yard to ensure her safety at all times . Unknown if ok with other dogs ( can arrange a meet and greet ) / not cat tested / unknown if ok with children .

We are looking for assistance with rehoming two lovely dogs please.
This little one is Holly . Can be placed together or seperately .
Bambi and Holly are two OAP's who have some medical issues starting to arise.
Unfortunately their owner is not is a position to care for them with additional needs and has asked for our help finding more suitable homes.
Holly - ShihTzu 10 years old.
History of mammary tumors which are removable .
Once a new home is located for these little ones, we would be happy to cover surgery and medical costs for both initially.
It is advised that these dogs are suitable to a home without children.
We would really appreciate any help with rehoming/fostering these lovely dogs.

Description : Staffordshire Bull Terrier / Japanese Akita mix
Estimated Age : 12 weeks
Status : Voluntary surrender
Info : To advise - this pup is a mix of 2 x restricted breed dogs ( southern ireland ) and as such is classed as a restricted breed himself . Local authority housing bans any restricted breeds or mixes of being kept in rented accommodation . When being walked off owners property he will required to be muzzled , on a lead no longer than 2 meters long and under the effective control of a person 16 years + . Private rental accommodation - please check with your landlord .
Although reasonably small at this age please be aware that this pup will probably grow to large in size as an adult .
He is very lively and friendly with everyone . Anyone considering re-homing this fella will need to have LOTS of time and patience to engage all aspects of basic training . Also please research both his mix of breeds prior to applying .
Needs to be house living with access to a large secure garden / yard to ensure his safety at all times . He hopefully will be around for the next 12 - 14 years so needs a very committed person/s who can envisage life beyond the initial first few months .
Please note that non of this info is posted to deter possible re-homers but rather to ensure that this baby hopefully will be placed straight away in a suitable forever home .

JUST A REMINDER, TO ALL DOG OWNERS.

⚠️🚙⚠️ Despite the warnings, hundreds of dogs in the UK die every year after being left in a hot car. Someone you know may need to read this very important message. ⚠️🚙⚠️

SIX MINUTES is all it takes for a dog to overheat in a hot car.

Your dog could suffer serious injury or die in a matter of minutes if left alone in a car.

• The temperature inside a closed vehicle left in the sun can double within 12 minutes.

• At least 75% of the temperature increase in a closed vehicle occurs within 5 minutes of closing the vehicle, and at least 89% of the temperature increase occurs within 15 minutes of closing the vehicle.

• Temperatures exceeding 104˚ F can lead to death or serious injury for the occupants.

• Temperatures in a closed vehicle sitting in the hot sun can reach 160˚F and above. An animal will suffer immeasurably and may die before the temperature reaches 150˚F.

• Even when parked in the shade, the vehicle temperatures can exceed 104˚C.

• Leaving windows down more than 2 inches on an unattended vehicle will not prevent a car from reaching extreme temperatures.

• Even if the animal is revived, they can die due to severe internal organ damage.

Your dog trusts you to have their best interest at heart ALWAYS.
Please don’t risk their safety.

If you are not taking your dog inside your destination with you, PLEASE leave them at home where they are comfortable and safe.

Info : Medium size very nice temperament young dog . Walks nicely on a lead and is in great condition . VERY friendly , very well socialized with people . Will make a very lucky person a wonderful companion . Unknown if ok with other dogs / children ( due to her young age we would guess she could adapt fairly easily ) / not cat tested .

⭐️LOOKING A VERY SPECIFIC HOME FOR CHALRIE

🐶This is boy has needs and quirks that must NOT be ignored or taken lightly, but with that being said he is the most loving and
obedient boy as the above video shows.

He loves people but due to SEVERE guarding issues over his food, treats and toys, he needs an adult only, pet free EXPERIENCED home. This is not a problem that will disappear over night and just because he cuddles up beside you and sits when you tell him does not mean you forget about his guarding issues and think he will “share” his toys with you. This will be an ongoing issue that will require consistent training and working with.

We only have 13 days to find this for him.

Please only apply if the above applies to you. There will be NO if, buts or maybes, the home MUST be adult only, pet free, experienced and willing to work with a trainer if need be.

Urgent status regarding Dog Ref 193 now in the pound over the maximum stay of 14 days.
Had a viewing today which didn't go too well with the other dog.needs a home or rescue placement by 2 pm Monday.
Must be the only Dog in the Home.Very friendly with staff.

Info : Tiger brindle "pocket rocket" ! Very compact boy with a HUGE amount of energy . Friendly with staff , loves his cuddles , VERY strong . Pulls on the lead so a harness may be best for him . Unknown if ok with other dogs / children / cats . Will need considerable daily exercise to help burn up his zest for walks / playtime . Needs a new person/s in his life that have previous breed experience . Not suitable for the novice dog owner . House living with access to a large secure garden / yard to ensure his safety at all times . Note : this is one of the restricted breeds in SI so will require to be muzzled when in public areas , on a lead no more than 2 meters and under the supervision of a person not under 16 years old .

Update 29.5.24 : Creeping towards urgent status...
10 days in monaghan county council dog pound , just 4 days short of the council maximum recommended pound stay of 14 days .
Not one inquiry , no home / rescue offer . Has Staffordshire Bull Terrier in his breeding but not 100% sure what else ....
We can advise that this boy is very friendly and confident with the pound staff . He was delivered to the pound as a stray and was not microchipped . Only a young fella estimated at 1 - 1.5 years old .
Unfortunately we cannot advise whether ok with other dogs / cats / children . He needs an offer of help soon if he is to survive .

Info : Such a young baby to be left on his own... so far has been a bit quiet and withdrawn . Poor little fella doesn`t know what is happening but does absolutely appreciate being held closely against your heart for that familiar beat and warmth .
Fairly chunky paws and bone structure so guessing he will grow to be medium to large in size . At an adaptable age to fit in almost any home situation so probably ok with other dogs / cats / dog savy children . Rural location preferred , house living with access to a spacious secure garden / yard . He would love a home where someone is there most of the time for company , socializing , instigating all aspects of basic training and lots of TLC !
