Let's not forget the oldies. This is GABBY (formerly Doris), she came to us via NWSPCA Ballina. It's sad to think that this gorgeous kitty was left at the vets to be pts after she experienced a dog bite on her leg. Gabby is eight years old and her owner told the vet he couldn't afford her treatment so just put her to sleep. NWSPCA Ballina got in touch with Gabby's owner to say they would cover her bill for treatment but his response was "l don't want her back". The wonderful Vets at Ballina treated Gabby's leg and its all healed but she spent 8 weeks at the vets as no home was found for her, this caused serious stress to Gabby and she turned from a cuddle bunny to a traumatised hissy girl, making her even more difficult to home. Cathy from NWSPCA asked if we were able to adopt Gabby and Trevor brought her home 2 weeks ago. It's been baby steps with Gabby as her world had been turned upside down, she would go for you if you tried to stroke her and she preferred to stay in her cat carrier (with the door open). We worked with Gabby for nearly a week gaining her trust and she eventually responded to Trevor with purrs and head butt's. Two weeks on and Gabby's true personality has surfaced now and she happily moved from the cat carrier to her cosy bed, no more hissing but lots of purrs, leg rubs and head butt's. It's such a joy to see this lovely kitty living her best life 💕

Exciting news...we have adopted two new kittens from AIN. One of the kittens has CH and we decided it would help her if her sister joined our family too....pictures of our cuties FLOSSY and BRAMBLE to follow ❤️.

Trevor has just phoned. Our darling Milo was pts. Sadly his heart was the problem and his body had already started to shut down. We are heart broken but at least Trevor was with him and he knew he was loved.

Please send positive vibes for our MILO BEAR. Trevor is on the way to the vet with him now. Milo was a bit dull yesterday, he was off his food today and suddenly starting panting and breathing rapidly. That's now stopped but he's very poorly 😢 Hopefully he makes the journey to the vet and whatever ails him is treatable

Our blind Greekie, TOBIAS has totally recovered from his extensive dental work and is delighted to be pain-free when eating. Tobias is fine if l stroke him without speaking but as soon as he hears my voice, he's off. I put it down to me being the person that medicates him but l could be wrong, he might just hate my Manchester accent :)
He's fine with Trevor, so the Scottish accent works a treat 😀

Handsome WOLF was handed into us a few years ago. He was found on a beach when he was about 8 weeks old, he was alone and was cornered by two dogs, the lady that spotted him was able to get hold of Wolf and rang us to see if we could take him. Wolf is quite a shy boy, easily spooked by noises, he will come up on my knee for a fuss and sleep, I think he feels safe there. We later learned that there had been another kitten which was rescued before Wolf was found. Two very lucky babies that day.

HEIDI is a quiet little kitty, and definitely a Daddy's girl, she never comes up on my lap but will happily grace Trevor's lap for big sleeps 💤

Lots of you have been asking how Fabio is and l am delighted to report that he's doing well. Initially Fabio couldn't eat anything other than baby mousse smoothies, then he tasted Naturo pate and turned his nose up at the smoothies 😋, now he has naturo pate and royal canin mother and baby cat dry food, as he can manage the tiny kibbles. He is also more animated and enjoys playing on the kitten scratching posts, his ears have still not become fully upright but his hearing is fine, he isn't as active as his brother Cooper but that's OK, he may just be slower at developing. Both boys are great company for each other and definitely Cooper has been a major help in Fabio's development.

COISTY has taken a while to grow and is still quite a small kitty but he's blossomed into such a handsome dude and he always seems to be smiling 😻
