Our beautiful girl has recovered incredibly well from her major surgery and is now ready for her new start!
We suspect this lady hasn't experienced love her entire life until now....but she is full to brimming with love and affection ❤️ She genuinely will make an amazing companion for the right family.
She delights in human company, loves a scratch, her walkies (which we are building up gradually), and a yummy snack!

Our little soldier is fast learning how to love life on three legs! Her resilience, strength and wonderful nature are an inspiration ✨️ She is the happiest love bug ❤️❤️❤️
Her rehabilitation is going really well, hopefully dressing can be removed soon, meaning she can go into a suitable foster/forever home shortly!
At the moment, we would love to find a foster home, with the view to adopt.

Rescue is very hard sometimes and soul destroying when you think you have rescued a dog and their chance gets taken away 😢😢
A few days ago we got a devastating call that our dear Jemima (known to her fosters as Penny) had taken unwell and had been admitted to the vets. Unfortunately her wee body was too tired and worn from all the over breeding and we couldnt save her, for this we are totally gutted 💔 but we are grateful that we were able to place her in a home where she knew love and kindness and we are very thankful to her fosters for their dedication and love for her and for showing her what it was like to finally be a dog ❤️🐶 we are saddened that we couldn’t have gave her longer 💔
We would like to thank all our supporters that helped make Jemima’s life comfortable and with your support we will continue to help dogs like her ❤️

An update on our beautiful girl ❤️
X-ray showed she had 2 breaks in her leg alongside her broken tail. Amputation was the only reasonable option, but wow has she taken it all in her stride! ❤️
She is now back with in our care, recovering nicely, enjoying all the cuddles! She is a grade A floosy and enjoys all the attention she can get! 🤣😝💕
We will certainly keep updating you all on her progress, but for now enjoy the smiling, happy face we so longed to see!

Heidi and Bluebell have been with us for soo long 💔 Maybe soon their forever people will see them. Maybe soon they will know this kind of love, affection and freedom. Maybe, but until then we won't give up. 🙏

We already love you so much ❤️
We picked up Isla today and had to transport her directly to our vet, with obvious traumatic injuries. She had been picked up by the council last week, and taken to the pound. Thankfully she received care and pain relief from the team at the pound facility and associated veterinary team, who kept her comfortable until we could collect her. We assume this gorgeous girl has been hit by a car, although we are unsure how she sustained these injuries, including:
💔 Broken leg
💔 Broken tail
💔 Profuse bruising
💔 Flea infestation
💔 Skin condition
💔 Facial swelling
💔 Dental work required
And that's only what we can see 😢
Yet, she has a wonderful nature, so gentle. So loving. She is in a lot of pain, yet she has been so good ❤️ We would guess she has been a hunting/ working/ outdoor dog, given her physical state. For sure, neglected and dumped when she was no longer of any use, or would cost too much 'to fix' 😢
She really deserves a chance to find her happy ever after.
Tomorrow she will undergo some tests to gauge the extent of her injuries. She may be facing surgery, and/or long term extensive treatment, but are so hopeful we can help our gorgeous girl recover.

Little miss Heidi Tweed had a day away from kennels today and she enjoyed every minute. Heidi is so relaxed away from kennels and we get to see the true Heidi. She really is the best girl and will make an amazing companion for some lucky person/family. Heidi has so much love to give and it breaks our hearts to see other dogs come and go and poor Heidi doesn’t get any interest at all. Heidi is clever, affectionate and loyal, she is everything you would want in a dog. 💚🩵💚 Urgent Foster Needed 🩵💚🩵
This morning we have agreed to take in an injured lurcher from the pound. She is in poor shape and we believe she may have been hit by a car as she has a broken leg. We are still in discussions as to her treatment plan going forward and she is comfortable and pain free in the vets at present but we desperately need a foster for her next week as she will need crate rest and a calm quiet environment to recover in when she is discharged. Preferably a dog free home or a home where she can be kept in a separate area until she recovers and we can assess her needs. We really don’t want to have this girl recover in kennels so please PM the page if you are in a position to help a little lady lurcher in need 🙏🏻💔
