My name is Leah Sheridan. I have lived in portarlington since I was a baby, and I am turning 21 next month, and I really wanted to use this birthday to do something helpful and beneficial, and thought what better time than now to do something that's been on my bucket list, but do it for a brilliant local cause - or two!
I am hoping to use my 21st birthday to do a charity skydive in support of 2 amazing charities that are both very close to my heart - Cara Rescue and the Laois SPCA.
I love animals, like to the point where I would do anything for them, even jumping out of a plane!! I have always loved animals, since I was a child. I have 5 rescue cats myself, so every day I see the benefits of places such as cara and the lspca. If it weren't for the hard work of these amazing charities, there would be so many animals that's would not stand a chance or recieve the care, love, help and homes they need and deserve. These two amazing organisations couldn't do the important work they do without the generous donations of the public, so I would love to do anything I can to help out.
All I ask is a small donation in support of these amazing groups, any little amount helps. I am aiming to raise 1000€, which I know is very ambitious and a big ask but hopefully we can do it! I'm not doing the big thing by doing the skydive, but all the generous people who donate and help this amazing cause are!

Once I've hit the minimum target donation for the skydive, 300€, I can organise a date for the jump and use the time in between to raise the rest of the funds for these amazing charities.
