Sad news this morning, the passing of our lovely ole friend Bill🖤 One of my oldest customers, this Saluki had personality...stubborn, funny, lanky Bill who hit you with his paw if he wasn't getting enough attention or belly rubs, chattered his teeth at you if you were annoying him🙈 He'll be sorely missed by his Walkies buddies.
Also Jake, my very 1st customer back in early 2012. Great age for both to get to, a testament to their loving families, who we're thinking of today.

Beautiful greyhound Brienne stayed last night, all the way from Galway😍 keeping Ted & Poppy company. We also had Gryffin, Todd & Daisy this week as well as being back on the Lissadell route for Phoebe & Bob...busy August so far & near the end of a busy Summer 2024🫣

This initiative is designed to give our shelter dogs a refreshing break from their routine kennel life while they await their forever homes. Here’s how you can participate:

🐾𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀🐾
𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆: Take a shelter dog out for a lovely walk of your choice for the day.
𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀: Monday - Friday
𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: 10am - 2pm

🐾𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀🐾
Leash, Harness, and Collar: Dogs must be kept on a leash, harness, and collar at all times for their safety.
𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀: We will supply you with poo bags, bowls, towels, and beds for your car to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable outing for the dog.

Meet Moon Jelly, a female common seal found on Cullenamore, Strandhill beach, Co. Sligo on the 1st of July by Claire W. 🌙

Moon was found on a bed of rocks and was underweight. After a period of monitoring, it was determined that little Moon Jelly was orphaned. During her intake, she was very underweight, weighing 7.8kg. She is in the ICU gaining her crucial weight, showing her shining personality! Thank you so much to Fransica, Longford Animal Hospital, Jolanta and Marie for transporting this pup safely to our centre!

😍If you remember back to last month when I found this beautiful cub, now called Moon Jelly. Delighted to hear she has thrived & was just put up for adoption which I have just signed up for, courtesy of Amira💖💖💖💖

New boys Max & Sam jumped on board for some Summer walkies...as well as some ole favs Bailey & Willow😍

I know all the original, recommended pet minders are always booked up weeks, even months in advance & there are a lot of new ads offering services lately, but please properly source care for your fur babies. Always check reviews if there is any, go see their property & do a trial before committing. Make sure they have insurance, preferably their own pets & space to exercise or stretch their legs at least. Your pets safety & comfort takes some stress off leaving them while you go away. I'm already training in my predecessor...check out last few photos🙈🤣💖

Would you like your dog to do puppy classes but you dont have the time? How about Bespoke Puppy & Dog Classes that come to you?
It's very simple:

Pick a command from the list below
I come to you and we train at a location of your choice

Tell me when and where and I will come and train your dog and the dogs of 2 of your friends. A local park, back garden or even a sufficiently large space inside the home would all be suitable.

Terms & Conditions
Sessions are 1 hour long. Maximum distance travelled is 100km. The client must ensure the location is sufficiently safe and suitable for training
Deposit (30% non refundable) to be paid to secure booking with balance to be paid before session begins

Monday morning & it's a bad start to the week already...yesterday we said goodbye to the oldest reigning customer & honorary family member, little Bardi😭
For 10 years this cutest teacup yorkie had been causing havoc & breaking hearts since she arrived in Maugheraboy all the way from the Bronz. With her fancy wardrobe of tiny jumpers & coats & her sassy New York attitude she charmed everyone that met her & had no problem inviting herself into neighbours houses to beg & steal food🙈 She was like a cat with 9 lives, thinking she was a goner many times due to health issues, she always pulled through & rallied on to live another day. Till this weekend when her lives ran out.
We will sorely miss her waggy little stump & demanding bark that kept us & her mommy Tricia on her toes for 13 years.
Lady Lombarda, go join your sisters from other misters gone before you, Fluf, Taylor & Spey, your lifelong besties & rest in peace🩷🖤
