Happy New Year🍾🥂
As 2025 ticks away, I have been reflecting back on the last 12 months. A year where as a rescue we have have seen many changes. Some planned and others very unexpected! We've laughed, cried, screamed, cursed and everything in between. But through all the ups and downs we have stayed true to what we do and have saved lots of lives.
As we head towards our 15th birthday, I am proud and privileged to be part of the Mo Chara family.
Our Trustees, staff and volunteers are what makes our little charity work. Thank you to each and everyone one of them, especially the ones who have listened to me and kept me sane!!
This year has had some tough moments, but from those we learn and grow.
We have lots planned for 2026, our Operation Kennel Transformation will hopefully be completed ( We still need to raise 12k to hit our target).
Our Welfare Education programme already has 4 bookings😁
Our shops are doing really well, who knows maybe No 3 could open this coming year!!
Above all else we will never loose focus on our mission.
Rescue, rehabilitate and rehome as many little souls as we can.
To you our fb family and supporters, I say a HUGE thank you. Your response to our many appeals is phenomenal. Your nice comments and good wishes make a huge difference, even on our darkest days you bring a smile to our weary faces.
I hope you all have a very Happy New Years eve.
Remember to hug those fur babies tight and keep them safe if there are any celebratory fireworks tonight!!
