A tough year on the breeding front with lots of second and third coverings. We decided to stop covering at the end of July and aim for early coverings next season with the mares that missed.

A super round and a super mare! What’s even more impressive is that she is out of a full thoroughbred mare which would suggest all of her jumping ability is inherited from her sire.

We are lucky to have our own mare by Amaretto Darco who this year has a stunning dark brown filly. The filly is a bit of a mystery at the minute while we wait for DNA results to confirm her sire. Having been inseminated by 4 stallions there is a chance this filly is by Zapatero VDL, Cascari, Chalypso or Cormint.

We are very excited to see the results. If she has inherited the Amaretto Darco genes then she is definitely one to watch out for🤞🏻
