Mikey is in need of a new home thru absolutely no fault of his own( please no negative comments).
He is adored by his family. He is 3yrs old, neutered, vaccinated and chipped. House trained and ok on the lead. He is a big boy who would need a secure garden and daily exercise.
Here is what his owner says about him.
“ He's so good, he'd play or rest all day, whatever someone wants to do!... He's so loyal, and absolutely no trouble, he waits till I wake him, in the morning etc.. Totally low maintenance, he'd just a very good boy and friend ❤️
That's why, I feel important to find the right home, and trying to do asap as the longer, it will go on, the harder it will be... but unfortunately we will, and happy to give to a good home 🤗”

Roxy is looking for a new home, she is a five-year-old neutered terrier mix, she has spent a lot of time outside so might need some help with toilet training.
She has lived with another dog and has met cats.

We had two different people land at our gates today, unexpectedly and leave cats and kittens with us. We are already overwhelmed and have no space to take in more, especially semi wild cats and kittens😩this is adding more pressure on us. Please people spay and neuter your cats. We have been running our cat neuter scheme for several months now and neutered over 2000 cats but still seems to be making no difference 😞

Sachi is a 4 year old female staffie mix( her mother is a staffing mix and father is a terrier) and she is in need of a new home. Sachi is neutered, extremely timid and gets on well with other dogs! She doesn't like cats and likes to chase them!
Sachi is not in our care, we have been asked by her owners to help try and find her a home.

Paddy Reidy from Castleisland sadly died some months ago. His family knew that he had a lifelong love of animals ,especially for his beloved dog Toby, and very kindly donated the money in his Post Office savings book to Animal Help Net Kerry. We would like to publicly acknowledge Paddy's caring nature and the generous donation to our organisation made by the family. RIP Paddy.

We received this message this morning.

Our outdoor cat is missing for nearly a week in the Ardfert/Abbeydorney area.
His name is Tigger, but doesn't respond to his name, or any name. He has no name tag (he kept losing them/getting caught in ditches).
He is about 7yrs, appears friendly but doesn't like to be touched.
He's easier to identify because he has a shorter tail than most cats (he lost about 2inches due to possibly a fan belt).

“Hi there, my parents cat is gone missing in Listowel. He got out in Garveys car park as my dad was taking him home from the vet. He is an old jet black cat called Tom and he is deaf. My parents are heartbroken and s very nice lady called Margaret has been helping us to look and advised us to contact you. Could you please put up a post about him in case anyone finds him?”
