This little cutie is Tia, a 3 month old cavapoo who was found abandoned in a takeaway box when she just was 4 weeks old. When she came into our care, Tia had a very bad eye infection, but as you can see from her photo, she has the most beautiful eyes. Tia is a real confident little lady and is doing well with her toilet training. She would love a home with another dog for company and where someone will be around a good bit of the time to continue with her training. Tia has been vaccinated and microchipped.

Help needed 💔

It is raining dogs ...we are literally being asked to take dogs, a few every day.

This guy is on limited time. We will post here but we are under severe pressure already with the dogs in our care. Ireland is overflowing with unwanted dogs, we are appealing to all to stop breeding and stop buying. We are at crisis level and dogs deserve better.

Male rottweiler, 5, good with dogs but appears to have never lived in a house or met a child or a cat. Gentle natured dog.

Vito is still waiting for a family 😥 Seven year old Vito has never a had a person of his own. He was kept as a hunting dog in kennels. For an affectionate soul like Vito it was a lonely life. He loves to be around people and wil be a loyal pet. Vito is a German Wire Haired Pointer and is a gorgeous looking dog. He gets on well with other dogs and with children. He is not cat tested.

Luca is the loveliest boy, waiting patiently for his person. He does not get on well with cats or children and would be best suited to a female owner as he can be nervous around men. He loves nothing more than a good back rub and is an absolute dote.

SNIPER
Meet Sniper! A very handsome 8 year old German Wire Haired Pointer😍

Sniper hasn’t had the best of lives. He was owned by a hunter who didn’t want him anymore. He was given to someone who couldn’t keep him and eventually made his way to CAW.

We are hoping to find Sniper his forever home where he will be an important member of the family. He is not fond of other male dogs but will tolerate them if they are not in his face. He is better with female dogs. Sniper is very affectionate with people and good with kids we are told though he’s not in foster with kids. He is good around horses and cows. He chases cats.

Our beautiful cat has been missing for the past 24 hours which is very out of character. Hes neutered and chipped. He’s black and very friendly from the Gentian Hill area in Salthill.

UPDATE:

Wonderful news. The owners of Cass have been found and are on their way to her now. They have been searching the roads and fields looking for her for the past week. She is greatly loved and is 16 years old.Thank you everyone for all the shares and offers of help. She really is a beautiful old dog and we are delighted for her.

This poor old dog has many health problems.... one of which is 24 hours urgent. She will need surgery to remove an eye to begin with. We would love for her to have a person she loves in her life at this stressful time. A mass has been discovered on her liver and kidneys. She is a lovely dog and we just want to do right by her.
