This worried little girl is Sophie. Sophie was rescued by our @ispca_official Inspector who also took care of Sophie until we had space for her ❤️
She has already made great progress with him but will need a kind, patient, understanding home to help her blossom into the wonderful little lady hiding under this frightened face. We have seen her play and have fun when she thinks no one is watching, hopefully she’ll soon be brave enough to play again even when there is ❤️

We have the most wonderful news to share - Ernest was adopted ❤️❤️❤️ Caroline came to meet him on Friday and was so gentle and kind with him that he quickly decided he wanted to be friends. Caroline has experience with scaredy-cats and will give this gentle boy all the time he needs to adjust to his new home. environment. It’s so lovely to meet people who are willing to adopt the less easily adoptable cats and give them what they need to blossom into the wonderful, loyal pets they make. Ernest is ready to find his forever home. This sweet sweet boy is gentle but still quite frightened by new things. He will come around just like he has here if he is given a little bit of time, patience and love. He is so good with other cats and seems fine with my dogs too so he’d be happy in a home with other animals that could help him learn that people aren’t going to hurt him anymore.

Poor little Margo has had a very tough couple of weeks with life-saving surgeries necessary when a hernia left part of her omentum (a fold of the peritoneum connecting the stomach with other abdominal organs) hanging outside her body.
She was rushed to the emergency Vet late at night and was in theatre almost immediately. Sleepless hours followed while we waited for the call. She survived and was bright and alert, better than the Vet expected.
Three days later, another surgery followed, this one smaller but still necessary because of the huge risks that still hung over her. That was almost two weeks ago. Daily antibiotics and pain relief, checking her surgical wounds and making sure her form is good. Finally, we can breathe again, she’s going to be fine and has the most wonderful forever home waiting ❤️
There was never any question about whether Margo would get the surgery she needed but it has been a very expensive month and our funds are very depleted. Rita’s Adoption Day
Little old lady, Rita, was adopted today ❤️ Fionnuala, who adopted Selena from us previously and was heartbroken when Selena passed away, had a place in her heart and her home for another senior cat with health issues and immediately offered to adopt Rita.
This is Rita’s first proper home where she gets to live inside as part of the family. A dream come true for her. And for us ❤️

It was a tough one for the referee to call but winner on pawints had to be the beast that is Stone Cold Glen Pawstin 🐈⬛ Winnie’s attempted knockout in the final moments not enough to unseat the champ.

No more outdoor living for her, bed and breakfast is the way forward. The scarring on her lungs makes her breathing audible but it isn’t causing her any pain or discomfort. She is so content and gets very excited about her pâté food, so much easier for her to manage with her six remaining teeth.

Just over 2 weeks here and Ernest is getting very vocal and quite affectionate 🤗
Still eating quickly (even if it’s actually my finger 😂) and still nervous of noises or changes but really starting to learn that it’s ok here, nobody is going to hurt him, and that tasty food is on the way.

After the first night, Ernest started to eat in front of me. Good progress. He wolfed his food. Ate as fast as he could like this was what he was used to, grab what you can, when you can. The other good news is that he let me touch him. Still fearful but no aggression with it, a gentle soul really.
