Here are some tips to keep your precious pooch calm and safe during the firework season ahead 💥👻

Walk dogs during daylight hours to avoid times when fireworks are likely to be set off ☑️

Close windows and curtains to muffle the sound of fireworks ☑️

Put on some music or tv to mask the firework sounds ☑️

Create a quiet space where your dog can feel in control and safe ☑️

Create some hiding places around your home ☑️

That time again… “Dog Fact of The Week” 🤓

This won’t come as a huge surprise to anyone who has watched their own dog twitching or whimpering in their sleep. Dogs have the same brain wave patterns while they are asleep as humans, so they dream just like we do.

But what is more surprising is the fact that not all dogs dream the same amount. Small dogs actually have more dreams than big dogs.

For example, a small dog such as a toy poodle may dream once every 10 minutes, whereas a great dane may have around an hour between each dream.

As dog owners ourselves, we love to take our dogs everywhere with us and take advantage of any opportunity to be able to take them with us to dog-friendly shops, hotels, cafes etc.

However, one thing we always found frustrating was that there was never an opportunity to bring your dog to the shops and feel confident that they were safe outside.

This is the idea behind Den4Dogs… we want to give fellow dog owners the chance to leave their dogs in a safe, secure & air-conditioned unit whilst shopping without worry 🥰

We can’t wait to see our units at retailers throughout the country, if you’re interested in the units or would like to chat about it further, feel free to reach out to us.
