As we don't have a vet living on the island. And the stress it causes to take your pet to the mainland. I decided that I could do these basic things listed below. I love animals and I'm well able to do the things listed below as I've done it on my own so many times. So this care can be given to cats and dogs. And also if you need anything done with cattle and Horses. So whatever reason that somebody can't do these things and need it done get in touch with me. Things would only be done that I know about only.
head-to-toe-inspection
of the animal look at their eyes and ears, check for fleas and other common problems. If any lumps and bumps that could be a concern. will check the condition of his coat and skin to see if either is unusually dry or oily, and whether there is the presence of dandruff or signs of excessive hair loss
Dental care
will also have a good look at your dog's teeth to decide whether or not they need cleaning and, if so, when. Dental care is particularly important in older dogs as dental disease can not only cause pain but could also lead to problems with their internal organs thanks to the nasty bacteria the diseases can create.
So check there mouth and teeth if have tartar build-up, broken teeth. If you want it done can brush their teeth and remove tartar if dog allows this.
Weight and body condition
Sadly obesity is an all-too common problem in dogs, so a close eye on your furry friend’s body condition well know if they're overweight or underweight
Nail trimming
Untrimmed nails can curl under and become very painful for a dog. Adapting their walking and running to deal with the discomfort of overly long nails can make their legs or feet sore. Excessively long nails can also catch on things and cause the nail to break to a painful level or even rip off, causing a different kind of injury.
Ear cleaning
Regular cleaning can help prevent ear infections. Using an appropriate ear cleaner, you can release wax and debris from the canal and help dry the ear. Dogs can build up wax and debris at a faster rate than people. Some dogs have very little ear buildup and simply need their ears cleaned occasionally.
Given tablets
Also if you want tablets to be given to a dog gently put down their throat that can be done. Like worming tablets etc
Dog walker
So if you on holiday or you're feeling under the weather or your time is taken up for whatever reason then I can do it. In exercise for clients' dogs (usually in half-hour or one-hour increments
Pet Sitting
SO WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
Pet sitting is a way of getting a little bit of help caring for your pet, whenever you need it. Our pets are as individual as we are and some pets are not meant to be caged or up rooted from routine. Some pets are just Happier at Home so I can come to your home and look after your pets exactly as you would or if you're going away on holiday are any other reason that leaves you with no one to look after your pet and need to leave your pet somewhere safe then if the pet is friendly with other animals then I can look after them in my own home. Administer medication aswell if needed.
If you're going away on holiday and need cattle and Horses looked after then can do that too.
If you need your your horse be dewormed
Or need your horse checked over to see if they're ok and everything else.
