🐾 This festive season, let's ensure our furry friends have a tail-wagging good time too!
🎄 When decking the halls and welcoming guests, prioritize your pup's safety and comfort. 🏡 Provide a quiet retreat for them to escape the holiday hustle, complete with their favorite toys and a cozy bed. If your pup isn't a fan of guests, pop him upstairs to a bedroom so he can escape in peace 💤
👫 Guests? Make sure they know the house rules for interacting with your dog. Not all pups are party animals, and some may need a gentle approach. Remind visitors to avoid feeding them table scraps, as some festive foods can be harmful to dogs.
💥Allocate one adult per dog to fully supervise interactions with children. Never leave little hands and little paws together alone.
🚫 Keep electrical cords, battery's and ornaments out of reach, reducing the risk of curious paws causing a holiday havoc.
🎅🏽 Even Santa paws needs a break! With the door constantly opening for guests, set up a baby gate to keep your dog behind while opening the front door and ensure your dog has a collar and ID tag on, in case of any unplanned escapades.
🐶 Spread the love by including your pup in the festivities if they choose to be there, but always prioritize their well-being. This Christmas, let's make it a paw-sitively delightful celebration for every member of the family! 🐕❤️
