Zach and Benji have been with us for the past few days. Beautiful friendly dogs, fabulous temperament, great walkers and HAPPY as Larry! When our doggie guests are happy, so are we!😀😀
Scooby, an absolutely gorgeous Cavachon, who stayed with us recently decided that Breda was more interesting than the ball.😂😂
Charlie, the gorgeous Golden Retriever, heading up Pike Wood in Killarney on our morning walk. A gentle giant!
A short video clip of Hudson, the Fox Blood Red Labrador, on our morning walk. My first time seeing a lab of this colour. He is a beauty and loves his walk.
Nancy and Toby - not related - out for their morning walk and getting on famously.
Pooka is my first dog walking "client" and absolutely loves to be out and about! What happens when you ask your dog if they want to go for a walk? Do they get excited? Do they start to prance around and run for the leash? That excitement tells you all you need to know about how your dog feel about walks.
Walking is a great physical and mental exercise and dogs love to sniff around for extra stimulation. (Pooka could "sniff" for Ireland when out on his walks). Walking with your dog also helps with socialization by exposing them to different people, dogs and situations and this also helps to increase their confidence in different situations.
Our very good friend, legendary musician Sharon Shannon, is one of Ireland's most passionate animal lovers and - although on tour in the UK at the moment - she took the time out to send me this lovely video of support to share with our Facebook friends and followers.
