Haven't posted over the summer this year as we had Sandy staying for 2 months! We've had Sandy to stay a good few times before and he always settles for us. Knowing we'd have him for so long we booked some trips away with him. He's very good in the car, mostly just looking out the window (favourite pastime) or having a snooze.
We were able to let Sandy off lead so every morning we went to our local football pitches and had a game of ball. Was a lovely start to the morning for everyone.
Sandy was great company for us for the 2 months. We enjoyed every day - Sandy had only two bad days with us when we brought him to the dog wash! He behaved brilliantly but his face showed how impressed he was.
We also celebrated Sandy's 3rd birthday while he was staying with us. He have been a little spoilt by us but what are you going to do!
Sandy and his family were so thrilled to see each other when they got home. I'd say Sandy's tail is still wagging!
Sandy is the office dog where I work so I get see him loads and he'll be back to stay again later in the year too! ❤️

Harley & Bentley came back for a 10 day stay. These two boys love their parents are usually very sad to see them go - until the bribes I mean treats come out!
They have great fun together, running around the shed, eating each others food (Bentley mostly) and arguing over the same toy!
Hopefully the boys will be back later in the year ❤️❤️

Ruby came back again. Ruby is one of our OG visitors. She came to us when we set up 5 years ago and has been back most years since! Ruby remembers the house and runs up the drive every time! The love affair continued with the tall beardy man....photos below ❤️

Had a new visitor to stay. Theo the 2 year old chihuahua. Theo settled in really well. He was super happy to meet us and instantly feel into a routine with us. He came with an array of different outfits, a house coat, a jumper for walking and a rain jacket! His favourite place to sit was on our shoulders! I don't think photos show how small he actually he is. He weights 2.2kgs - he was called Teeny Tiny Theo for his stay!
Theo is booked in again for later in the year so we'll see him in a few months ❤️

Had Ben stay for a couple of days while his parents were on a city break. He had an itchy leg hence the inflatable collar of shame. He didn't mind it at all and we gave him breaks when out for his walks. His leg improved over his stay and is doing well now ❤️

Jazz stayed with us for a whole month while his family went travelling. We loved having him for a long stay.
We all found our routine very quickly. Food in the morning, walk at lunch. Dinner and then another walk.
Jazz was great in the car too so we were able to go further with him. He loved St Anne's (he's a local there too!) and walking along the seafront.
Jazz went home about a week ago he was so happy to see his family and they him ❤️
