It's incredibly rewarding when clients send in videos showing how training pays off in real life. Walking Tody used to be incredibly difficult. Little Bonnie joined her forever family without any training. She was, to say the least, a Kangaroo, jumping was her go-to behaviour. She had next to no ability to show any impulse control. What happens, though, when you have a committed family who are all aboard in wanting to do the best for their new 4-legged family member, can truly be amazing. Well done not just to Bonnie but to her and her whole family.

When Maddie started her one to one programme, one of the major areas of concern was her incessant barking and jumping up on people. This was the start of her 3rd session, and I just got out of the car. Previously, she would have been all over anyone arriving. Well done, Maddie and your mam. The hard work and follow through are definitely paying off.
Ruby LOVES her food, and it's gone in a flash so this evening, I made it a bit more of a challenge for her, using a slow/Interactive Feeder from The Dog Squad shop. She really got into it, and for once she finished her dinner last.

Some of you know Mr Darcy from training videos and his series of Mr Darcy says infographics. Some of you might even have met him in the early days. This amazing little man guided me through my initial training, and subsequently taught me so much. He gave up his fight for life yesterday and joined his big brother Clyde and the legend Smudge. He will leave a permanent void.
Rest in peace little man.

Frankie had her last session with myself and The Dog Squad. When we started the programme she showed reactivity to humans, dogs and would lunge and bark at cars, trucks etc.

Best girl Lola had a settle challenge for this week's session. We were all going to sit down for a coffee while she had to stay on her settle mat. She aced it!
