💔Sadly Toph was put to sleep last night. Her bladder was filling with urine but she was unable to go to the toilet herself. Vets advised due to nerve damage she was unable to go by herself. Urine could leak into her organs which is fatal and kindest thing to do was let her go. Aoife held her paw as she took her last sleep💔 Run free Toph so sorry we could not give you a future 😭
Toph went to her foster home last night. We can't thank Aoife enough and the best part is Aoife is a vet so she knows what to watch out for. Aoife has noticed Toph is not urinating so she is back to vets today to check this out. Her tail is possibly paralysed also but that is not the end of the world. Toph is happy out, oblivious to her injuries just a real brave girl 🩷 who will be fitting fight in a month or so.

Harbin came into our care emaciated, parvo positive and just a shocking state of cruelty had been inflected on him. He is finally ready for a forever home.

Harbin is a young boy and he is tiny, although his pictures do not show how small he really is. Harbin is in foster in Portlaoise and this is what his foster family have to say about him He is a very sweet dog, full of love, and always wants to be in someone’s lap. However, he is also completely fine on his own. He is highly food-motivated, making him easy to train. Harbin loves going for walks, enjoys companionship, avoids conflicts, and loves to play with other dogs either male or female. If he finds something he assumes is food and is left alone with it, he will tear it apart. He loves rope toys, but he tends to destroy softer rubber toys. Harbin has allergies and we have done everything possible to find out what he is allergic to. He even had blood tests which came up with a hit on house mites which all houses have and an outdoor fungus which we believe is more the wetter time of year. The best solution for Harbin is 1 apoquel tablet a day which costs approx €1.50 per day. His fosterers have him on a hypoallergenic food which is also helping, they are using Red Mills Engage Salmon & Rice. After his rubbish start in life Harbin is so deserving of a happy ever after, we can't stress what a lovely little boy he is. We have put in pictures of when he was first found. Harbin is neutered, chipped, fully vaccinated including kennel cough. Please note he is in Portlaoise currently, if your not from close to that area but committed to giving Harbin a home we can bring him to kennels in north Cork from his foster home, but we prefer for him to stay in a home until he has a concrete home offer.

Geoff is our 3rd intake today from the county warden. Another beautiful boy who we believe knows Matt as they were found in the same area. They huddled up together in the jeep and were excellent passengers.

This stunning boy is Garvin, we are guessing corgi, dachshund, beagle cross.

He is 1 of 3 dogs we collected from the county warden earlier today and to say we are full is an understatement.

Sadly we can not fit in a mouse currently until we find homes for some dogs.

Found in Buttevant yesterday, roaring with hunger and pain as has an abcess in her rear end. It is not operable but meds should sort it all out for her. She is safe and has a foster home to go to for her recovery.

Reno did not make it to our rehoming album as we already knew of a lady looking to adopt this type of dog.

Reno now called Cody has been in his new home with Maire nearly a month. He walked in the door like he had always lived there, totally forgot about his foster home 🤭 but that is what we need them to do, be independant rather than getting attached to their foster family.

Paisley was collected earlier from after her spay yesterday. She is an older lady born October 2019, weights 25kgs and 26 inches to her shoulder.
She had a walk, her dinner and now gone for a nap 😴

All the way originally from Wexford pound, then Ösi-Greys - Greyhounds in Österreich gave him the opportunity to travel to Austria. So happy he has got his forever home.

Zwei Monate war er in der Steiermark auf einer Pflegestelle, doch nun ist er schon unterwegs nach Wien. 🇦🇹

To us Derek has found the perfect home. He goes to work on the farm everyday with Rory, remember Collies are working dogs and thrive on having a purpose.
In the evenings he is tucked up at home, thats if he is not taken to visit the neighbours which is a regular occurance.
Derek has the best of both worlds and is very happy boy.

Member of public has moved to back of Crafted Fitted Furniture, Bridge Street, Mallow to avoid further damage. Hopefully someone may recognise this cat 🌈
