Our office will be CLOSED TODAY, Wednesday Nov 22nd as we say our final goodbyes to our dear friend and staff member John Sheehy.

The office will reopen tomorrow (Thursday) from 10am to 8pm as usual.

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our friend and colleague, John Sheehy.

John was an integral part of our team and always a pleasure to work with. He will be greatly missed by all of us at Castleview Veterinary Services. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.

Our annual Herds competition sponsored by Dairymaster is now open for entries. This is a great opportunity to get experienced judges advice on your herd, meet like minded farmers and be in with a chance of winning some great prizes.
Prize categories include:
Best overall cow, based on kilogrammes of protein production
Highest herd percentage protein
Lifetime production cow
Highest conformation herd and production herd
Lowest somatic cell count (SCC)
Best overall heifer, junior cow and senior cow
Highest overall economic breeding index (EBI) herd
Cow families
Pure Friesian class.
Closing date for entries is Friday, July 2, and the competition is open to pedigree herds.
