Did you know that the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) recommends that you flush dog p**p! It allows it to be treated at a sewage treatment facility as a result! So when , protect our , help to be and promote a of waste!

All p**p produces methane gas, even dog p**p! Methane is a potent gas and harmful to our . When , bin it. This at least removes the p**p from the environment and then sends it to landfill or incineration. Neither are ideal solutions but at least it's a small step in the right direction! 🐕💩🚮

Sadly, this is Lahinch this evening. There is absolutely no shortage of warning signs, free bags and plently of bins. Enforcement seems to be necessary!!! Unbelievable that this is so blatant in such a notable seaside promenade and beside a famous golflinks course.

Last piece of the manufacturing process. The access cap for the top of the Dunit. The mould is now complete. Just need to have it quality checked and then we will be ready for final product manufacture! Almost there now!

So Kilkee beach is not for swimming! One of the more popular spots in County Clare for tourism. The busy season hasn't even started yet! We know from the EPA report on Irish beaches that 47% of this is from urban waste water. So when we know 47% of the problem is from the lack of appropriate functioning of these wastewater treatment facilities, why are we not doing more about this?

Finally we have a working mould for , product ready version. In order for us to manufacture even 1 Dunit we need a mould to produce it. This is why it is so difficult to get some products going. Whether you manufacture 1 or 100 Dunits, you need to have a mould first. It's been a long road since Ceaser dun it so many years ago...

In terms of fines, this is worth €450 (€150 per fine)! Wouldn't it be a great idea of we fined these people and then gave this income back to the local community?

So the Irish show there are two things we can do when we are at the beach in order to keep our bathing water clean, pick up our litter and pick up after our dogs. Good advise in fairness, whenever we should pick up 🐕💩🚮! But here's the thing, according to the same report 47% of our problem (the biggest proportion) is coming from urban wastewater. After all the issues with (don't need to remind everyone! 😡🤣) should they not be ensuring our wastewater treatment plants are actually treating the wastewater?

Dropped my 4 year old to preschool this morning and on the 10 second walk back to my car 4 times! How hard is it to enforce the law ? 🤬🤬🤬🤬 I wouldn't mind but this is not some back alley, it is a main route into Limerick and also residential. Highlight the trouble spots, send out a litter warden to watch and wait. Hand out the fine!

No matter what bag you choose when it all goes to landfill or incinerator. Obviously 🐕💩🚮 but it's a double edged problem for our environment!

Many dog poo bags end up in the ditch, the sea and hanging from trees. This is litter!! All poo bags, even compostable bags should go in public bins or your general waste bin. Dog poo should not be put in the compost or food waste recycling bin either. Always pick up after your dog and protect

Let's face it, when we are out walking our dogs in public and 🐕💩 and irresponsible dog owners did not 🚮, we are all given a bad name as dog owners! But what if there was a dog friendly way for us to properly put the blame on the people that simply do not care? And tackle these people! There must be a satisfactory public solution.
