Beautiful Milo! Deise Animal Sanctuary

Introducing my 2 fur babies Jessie & Izzy! Jessie is a Labrador crossed with a Welsh setter and Izzy is a Cockapoo! As you can see Izzy steals the big bed while Jessie squeezes herself into the small bed! They are the best of friends most of the times!!

If you got your Dog or Cat from a rescue, tell us their story!

My 2 cats were from Cat Rescue here in Wexford. Tarot, the younger one, was only 6 weeks old when we got her. Apparantly she was found running out of a ditch and someone picked her up and brought her to cat rescue. She was super tiny when we got her. She had a few health issues early on but seems absolutely fine now and her preferred hunt is a shrew! Never catches mice... always shrews.
She can't meow properly, it's more of a squeak and she will be 2 in August!

Solar Eclipse 2024 warning as pet owners told to be 'extra vigilant'

The next eclipse is on April 8th.

The most likely response is that animals start showing their evening behaviours thinking that the dip in light will make pets think it's night time. They may yawn or stretch thinking it's time for bed.

While this is nothing significant to worry about, some pets may show anxiety by pacing, hiding, barking but this will pass quickly.

Here in Ireland we will only have a partial eclipse due to the sun setting before it will reach its maximum phase.
