GREEN TEL AVIV is social enterprise offering project based programs where students will learn by engaging in hands-on activities.

Content is structured to cater for students’ ages and abilities following the philosophy of “No child left behind". The aim is to spark a sense of purpose in every student.

In our workshops we want to show students that they can:

- be in control of their own food production

- bring a seemingly animate object to life and their actions can keep it alive and let it grow

- enjoy the fruits of their labor - they are rewarded for their commitment and effort

… and to illustrate “the bigger picture":

- food doesn't have to come in plastic packaging from a shop

- we are all a part of the cycle of life

- we are all responsible for life in our kitchens, in our gardens, in nature on Earth

- there are talents other than mathematics and languages, and important careers other than doctors and lawyers.

In the process we want to teach students about:
- sustainability
- self reliance
- responsibility
- reward

A bonus is that lessons will be taught in English. This way students are exposed to English as a foreign language (EFL) while engaging in fun activities. Conversing in different languages

GROW TLV was created to support the development of urban farming in Tel Aviv, Israel. By transforming vacant spaces into urban farm enterprises that are economically productive and environmentally sustainable and training local residents to become skilled urban growers, GROW TLV promotes the healthy expansion of the industry.

GROW Tel Aviv was established to:

Provide education for the youth and individuals about the creation of food in an urban environment

Increase the opportunity for farming by acquiring, remediating and leasing urban land for food production
