Lots of kids and grown ups had a blast at our Puppy Washing day!
Everyone worked so hard washing, grooming, loving and playing that we almost ran out of puppies.
It was a fun event and the team of the new Auroville Dog Shelter was so happy to finally open its doors to children.
Everyone had a great time and wants to come back to our next puppy washing day !

ALERT: Rabies Suspect Dog at Shanti Community

This afternoon the Auroville Dog Shelter team captured a dog in Shanti Community near Matrimandir that we strongly suspect may have been infected with rabies. Given the history of another recent case in the same area, we caught a short time ago, we urge everyone who has pets that might have come into contact with this dog to get them vaccinated with the anti-rabies vaccine immediately.
