Given that it's a Bandh on Tuesday the 26th of September, we will be starting delivery of food by 2 am. Kindly make sure bags/ buckets/box are kept out for the food to be dropped in. Food is being sent fresh and hot early in the morning, so please make sure to store and feed accordingly

Running Romy's Doggy Oota has been quiet a task! Our day starts at 2 am! There are maddening days... Weeks... Months...
There are people who drive us up the hill, but then again there are people who care and understand how we do what we do.
At the end of it all, We are all in this together. We do what we do for the love of our streeties !

Today marks two crazy maddening yet satisfying years of running Romy's Doggy Oota.

Caring for and feeding our streeties of Bangalore has, is and will always be something near and dear to my heart.

Romy's was started with the only intent of feeding dogs and helping other feeders feed more dogs across Bangalore.

However, there are a few individuals ,whom In the name of doing Animal Welfare work lie like there is no tomorrow and cheat people. I had only read about them on social media, before they came to me for community dog food. Little did I know of their intentions.

They would come to buy food, bulk food and not pay and these aren't small sum of money.( literally lakhs and lakhs).

My fault that I trusted these people. I mean, how would I know that people who feed and take care of dogs would have it in their heart to cheat people.

Those who know me know that I've been lenient with the collection of dues. I do two jobs to make sure Romy's runs.i don't find time to even make the bills most months.However, it's becoming an unbearable financial burden to bare with and the people who, very evidently, have taken advantage of the leniency I've been showing.

For everyone who have been asking, it's for this reason that I'd been forced to change my Payment to a Prepaid Model, to avoid being duped. It's not because I don't trust you all, it's because of a few individuals like those who have placed massive orders and have just not bothered to pay after.

All attempts to reach out to these individuals have either resulted in being brushed off or ignored.
With that in mind, I'm left with no other choice. I'll start publishing all payment due along with the names of individuals who haven't cleared the long pending dues, so more people are not duped.

Like I always say, this is not a business, if it was, it would have shut down ages ago. My only intention is to keep Romy's running to support our feeders feed the streeties of Bangalore.

It's a joint effort, the husband and kids are overly supportive to making Romy's Doggy Oota work.

Our staff at the kitchen met with an accident and we are back to making the lists, labelling 300+ covers every day!

Our Delivery guys are sick too, so we have temp delivery guys and existing delivery guys doubling up on delivery. These covid times have always been stressful.

Thank you all for being supportive and putting up with all the delays. Thank you🙏
