Introducing Jager & Coffee 🐕
Jager n coffee are littermates n were adopted my their mother during the lockdown this year.
They had a habit of jumping n lunging on passerbys on their walks. But leash walks are a reflection of the dog's overall basic obedience. So, we started with working on both of their basics separately and are now slowly trying to put things together.
This is them trying to ignore their trainer and focus on their mother.

St.Bernards are giant breeds, and its imperative to teach them basic manners and obedience right from the start.
Imagine a full grown St.Bernard jumping and drooling all over you! (As cute as it may seem, you will be pinned down and swimming in a pool of saliva😬)
Odin is a star, and we have managed to bring down his jumping on people to a minimum, by redirecting to alternate cues. Its WIP, but we are getting there🙂.
Always remember to keep your sessions short and fun as they can easily lose interest soon!

Mylo would rush to the door everytime he heard the bell ring, and sometimes even zoom out.
So, we taught him the "Place" cue, and now he patiently waits while one attends to the visitor at the door.
This was definitely stressful for him to control his impulse and hold the stay, but this boy never disappoints!!
