Meet Imlie. We rescued her yesterday, when we were going out to feed the abandoned mother dog and take her puppy for a vet visit.

We stopped by, to feed her some food.
But she refused to eat anything.
Imlie is living in this area, from past one month only. Someone relocated her here when she was only 3 months old.

Since then, she has been roaming around this area, trying to escape from big dogs attack.
She is very very docile. Her nature is very calm.

During the treatment, i sat in front of her, holding her arms. When, I was giving her a gentle rub in her head, i felt some strong emotions for her.
I thought how she must have endured all this, in such little age. She is only 4 months old.

The shopkeeper bhaiya who also feed her sometimes, told us that she was lying alone in a corner on the back portion of the lane.She usually sits on the main road.
But for continuous 2 days, she didn't get up and ate nothing.

These 3 babies have recently recovered from Parvo. They were found on streets by when they started showing symptoms of Parvo. It has been really tough for her to take care of their treatment and needs. But still she did everything possible and they finally recovered. These babies are healthy and are fully recovered.

Just Sharing today's experinece that is related with her adoption .
This is Chotu ( urf Jhumkii).
The one and only child of Julie (the abandoned German shepherd dog) that is remaining with me out of the 8.

Everyday, i am trying my best to get her adopted as she is growing up fast and people only want to adopt small cute looking puppies that are just one month old & precisely male gender.
She is around 3.5 months old now.

I had a conversation with an adopter today, who was interested in adopting her after seeing the pictures, till her gender was not known.

The guy seemed pretty decent during the call.
He asked if the puppy is soft in nature.
This made me confident as i know the exact behaviour of chotu.She is very soft with our family and a little shy around new people.
She loves to be around her family.

When i told him that she is a girl. He said he cannot adopt her. I made him understand about sterilization, and that i will take of her animal birth control procedure but he already knew about it and still said no.
I told him that once you adopt her, it will give chance to another dogs. He said it is good but still cannot take her.

He said his family members still wouldn't allow.
I told him that i will make them understand. But he said they are his elder brother and his wife.
They are also doctors and know this pretty well but still they do not want a female dog in their house.

This had made me really upset because people who are even educated have misconceptions about the female dogs.
I mean they are females just like your female human friend, mother or sister. What is that makes a difference if you adopt a male dog or a female.

They still want a male puppy from me and i didn't even say no because i don't know what should i do at this point when already so many of puppies in my hometown are dying on streets due to the harsh weather there.
I just want them to be safe, wherever they live.
