Urgently need feeders at Zakir Hussain Delhi College. We will provide the food.

UPDATE- We have fed the dogs today, will post in next post but we need regular feeders (despite a lot of people thinking otherwise and we'll tell in the next post) We urgently need feeders for dogs and cats stuck inside the campus of Zakir Hussain Delhi College near New Delhi Railway station. We arranged the food and we had a feeder till today but the college caused some problems for feeding and now we've gotten permission to feed from tomorrow onwards. Our former feeder's family backed out so now we are looking for new feeders. The animals have not eaten anything for 7 days, we saw them through the gate today but they were too weak to walk to us. Now that we've permission and food, all we need is someone to feed as we live in South Delhi and don't have a private vehicle so we are unable to travel. We saw a dog who was not moving at all, they are all hand raised by students and shopkeepers and they need our urgent help. What is Genie’s Eden?

After spending 8 years working for the welfare of domestic and wild animals, I have come to a realisation that irrespective of how religiously I try to prevent their death and diseases, this endeavour cannot be fulfilled without extended support from other people. Months ago, a gleaming light of hope in my life was diminished when I tried to attempt a rescue of a puppy I found in a gutter near my college and immediately fell in love with. His name was Genie and after fighting bravely for 2 days, he succumbed to distemper. Since then, I have lost 5 animals who could have lived a fulfilling life if it not had been for logistical problems that could have been prevented with collective efforts. I don't want any other animal, domestic or wild, to ever meet the fate that Genie did. While a lot of people are not in line with my thoughts and methods of how i rescue animals or see their life, happiness and sufferings, I'm sure a lot are. This page is a way I want to reach a wider audience so that my animals receive help from a wider audience and their chances of survival increase.
