After fighting for 3 days, asha lost her battle to survive the brain injury given by her own mother.

She breathed her last this morning in her comforter . All her pain is now gone and she left in her sleep peacefully.

First rescue at our new place

In rural areas people are not much bothered about their pets going out unleashed or getting them sterelised.

Resulting their pets getting crossed with street kids and giving birth to mix breed kids.

This here is the outcome of one such mating where a GSD female has mated with a street kid .

For some or other reason the mother is not accepting this particular pup out of her 5 pups and has bitten severely on her head.

The owners have bothered to drop her with us but their responsibility ends there .

She is barely 15 days old and in pain. We have named her Asha in the hope that she will make it through the chances that are very slim as brain damage usually ends up severe nerve issues.

Other late night rescue. The dog was rescued from Chuna Mandi, Paharganj we recived a panic call from our patron late night around 10.30 that someone reported a bad maggot case to them and no ambulance was available to rescue a dog , so Sam from goes to rescue the dog luckily Mr. Vivek locked the dog in old house and with the help of catcher as the dog is little sacred and bitting so they managed to trap the dog.
After reaching the center we found she also had ticks all over body and temperature is alarming 106 somehow the temperature came to normal also the ticks removed. Blood reports will come tomorrow.

Also Sterlization also plays a important role in dogs after getting spayed/neuter a dog become less aggressive mostly the maggot case is due to dog fight in summers or in rainy season when mostly unsterlized female dog come on heat and there comes a dog fight.

An urge to people to participate more and more in sterilization drives as run by government and private organizations too.

Rant. Beware

We adopted the two kids . Out of the tragedy that her father had these four kids rescued and now not even there children hae space for them. This person didn't even knew that Jugni had hernia. We took two of these guys in and earthling trust took the rest two. I understand that we couldn't take all four of them together but atleast they are not on streets.

Now this person is looking for house and a caretaker. Fair enough, but why is she raising an amount for this? All four of them are literally adopted and do not require any funds from her whatsoever.

I am so confused right now by her posts that I feel like we are being just used just like that.

Buddhi and Potato the two old fellows both came to us last year but unfortunately Potato leave us 2 back back on Christmas eve due to Renal issue...Every street dog deserves peace in their old days we belive as living on the streets for years getting hit by people/scooter/cars they survive but there's a limitation i believe...but also its not practical that every kid gets home as people abandoned pedigree dogs and YEH TOU FIR DESI HAI!!.

Gabbar namm yaad hai, the one month puppy we rescued from cr park in front of our house with multiple bite marks . Luckily he was spotted by us and was simultaneously adopted by us .
How fast a year crosses by and our little gabbar is all boy now..

Reason we never put him on adoption is because noone wanted an indian breed which is sad reality of our country.

Well he can't be on more safe hands now and is enjoying our love with his lots of friends.

Sheru, the gunda of our lane. He was missing from two days and today evening we spotted him he has a big maggot wound around his neck luckily he spotted on time and treatment started otherwise it's going to be a big trouble.

Good news he had his food and sleeping peacefully wish him a speedy recovery 🙏

Life is very unfortunate for street kids. We got her sterlized last week and leave her in her lane but from last two days we couldn't find her so today when I ask the people nearby they told me she got hit by truck and died on the spot. When we people think about them and drive carefully, there's no complaint no fir because Ye tou sadak ka kutta tha😔

Bozo 2 year old Alsatian boy is up for adoption, he was rescued from the streets of jaipur by our patron.

He's very friendly with humans but not friendly with other dogs and also he needs a good exercise/long walks morning evening.

He's dewormed and vaccinated.
Also he's potty trained.

Stereliztion surgery mandatory before adoption. Post and pre adoption house check.

Bebo/brownie

This girl is one of the first group to be fed every evening . Few days ago Bebo stopped eating which continued for two days straight, which got us worried and we got the blood test done.

Her PLT count was low for which we started treatment. Within two days of treatment she had resumed eating and we were ready to release her back.

That is when we decided to get her stetelized as well since she is already picked up and her values are normal as well.

We were hoping it to be a normal sterelization but post surgery Dr hansraj called us and told us that she had Pyometra and she was lucky that we decided to get her stetelized .

Post surgery she lost some weight as well since that huge Pyometra may have been heavy and would have been keeping her uncomfortable as well.

Post surgery care was done at our place only and today she was released.

We are looking to raise her surgery cost only which came for 3500 . All the transportation and post op care is been taken care by us.

Rani , our basti dog is not getting improvement yet with regular antibiotics. Dr have now started on expensive antibiotic in the hope that infection would start coming down soon as repeated blood test done yesterday showed no improvement at all.

She has been eating and her other organs are absolutely in good health as of now which is giving us a hope that she will come out of the danger she is in right now.

We got bitten while catching her but now she understands that we are trying to get her back to good health . She have been all wagging tail throughout the day .

Out of 8000 we were raising we have only raised 3000 yet . That have been transferred to the dr account. We need to raise the balance and probably even some more so that we don't fall short on her recovery.

Her treatment won't stop due to shortage of funds but it would help us a lot for the dr bills to.clear and new rescues to undertake.

It seems that there won't be any day or week when we can say that all the kids we feed are in good health.

Yesterday in the morning we got a call that one of the kid in basti that we are taking care of have been vomiting since mor ing and is bleeding through her private parts.

Rani was one of the runner so after an hour of chasing and getting bitten , we finally were able to catch her.

Thought of internal hermorrage crossed our minds , but luckily the bleeding stopped on its own and Dr Singh was able to diagnose it as initial stage of TVT

Her blood test shows another disaster of values really high on infection and all other values are abnormal as well..

We have started the IVs and antibiotics now to bring the infection down , but it's a very long road to recovery.

We are raising medical expenses only.
Our estimates

Blood test 1200 done already.
Treatment for antibiotics for 5 days which is 500*5= 2500 . If the infection won't go down then treatment will go to 7 to 10 days even.
Another Blood test after 5 days of treatment : 1200

If everything settle down then chemo.will be done for four sessions @750 per session totalling 750*4= 3000.

The above expense is confirmed expense which will most like go up.as she is critical as of now.

Total expense we are looking forward to raise is 8000 approximately . Any amount in donation is appreciated .

Remember the kid got hit by a car. Good doctor and prayers of our kind followers apparently help this kiddo got back on his feet.

We almost lost hope when we picked him up on day 1. He was unconscious and was passing out again and again.

All thanks to our good doctor, Dr Manu Mishra who prescribed medicine through video call and the medicine worked wonders . Though the medicine was really expensive but we managed to take care of it by our own pockets.

Really appreciate our followers who were praying for him too.

Due to lockdown people have started driving like maniacs . They are so blind that they can't see a pup crossing the street in day time .

Just fed him yesterday evening and when we went today for feeding, we got to know that this baby got hit by a car, obviously which didn't bother to even stop to check on him.

Lying on the street side he must have fainted from the pain. His consciousness keeps coming and going. Nothing is broken but it seems that his head took the whole impact and that could be the reason of his current condition.

We did a video consultation with Dr Manu Mishra and started the treatment. There is no point of X ray as such because nothing is broken as far as we can see.

He condition is very critical and with no access to Delhi and all vets are closed , we only can hope that this kid will fight till morning tomorrow.

Third round of dry food distribution done today. This basti is a home to 40 odd furry kids who were starving before we took upon a mission to feed them despite having no manpower or finance .

We also took it upon ourselves to feed the humans there as well who are daily labourers and are stuck here without food or finance , away from their homes and children.

For dog food we are left with barely three bags which we know will go in next few days and we will post again asking for kind donors to help us out again in this pandemic
